  • And here is a healthy twist to chocolate brownies :) But, let me assure you using wheat flour does not compromise taste at all. You must give this recipe a try if you are a real brownie fan. Enjoy!!
    [INGREDIENTS]
    To Roast Almonds:
    - 1/4 Cup Almonds
    - 1 Tsp Water
    - Salt to taste
    To make Brownie:
    - 1/2 Cup Dark chocolate or compound
    - 1/2 Cup Salt
    - 1/2 Cup Butter
    - 1 Cup Whole wheat flour
    - 1 Tbsp Cocoa powder
    - 1/2 Tsp Baking powder
    - 1/4 Tsp Baking soda
    - 3/4 Cup Powdered sugar
    - 1/2 Cup Milk

    I tried this recipe yesterday. Honestly, I thought the wheat flour flavour would be very dominant in the brownie like it always does when used for baking, but I saw many people commenting otherwise and that's what encouraged me to try out this recipe.
    I must say that this turned out to be better than maida brownies for me and it didn't have even a hint of wheat flour flavour. Everybody in my family loved it! Thank you very much for sharing this amazing and easy recipe.🙏🏽

    This recipe was an absolute joy.. came out too good.. I used whole wheat and unprocessed brown cane sugar and baked it in an oven for 35 mins @ 180•.. as good as a normal brownie

    When u say half cup choclate, u mean half cup coarse chunks of choclate? Also for the butter, it's half cup before melting?

    Hi
    I tried this recipe , it came out really well . Only difference if I compare is that my batter was not as smooth and runny as yours . So I added little extra milk but still it was thicker . So I baked only for 25 Minutes in total .
    And yes wheat flour is nowhere to be noticed , great for kids :)
    Repeated the recipe this time with more milk . Result was amazing . Thank you so much :)

    Ma'am, can u solve the problem regarding this recipe.
    The brownies cooked well bt as soon as was cooling down the size started to deflate.

      Dark compound 60gm
      Butter 60 gm
      Wheat flour 125gm
      Sugar 90 gms
      Baking powder 25gm
      Baking soda about 12-13 gm
      Milk 60ml...

    I made same recipe and baked at convection mode 170 degrees 30 min but after 25min burnt smell came and all brownie was burnt.where it went wrong I didn't understand. Please suggest.

      Yes you can anytime use ghee instead of butter since ghee itself is known as clarified butter and dairy chocolate can also be used.

    Hii ma'am ..I tried this recipe today & it turned out yummm. Just one question- even after cooling down my bownies wre moist from the bottom & also it was so crumbly from the top that I was not able to cut into square pieces.. Can you tell me why this happened.. Boht zada toot rahi thi meri brownie..

      Batter bohot dry hone se aisa ho sakta hai. Next tym add a few tbsp water/milk to the batter OR if you consume eggs add one egg instead.

    This didn’t turn out very good..aatta granules were visible in batter and after being made the brownies tasted more like atta and less like brownies

    Good receipe.. and explained well.. One thing though. under your description you have mentioned "1/2 CUP SALT"... omg. it would become salt cakes. 😀🤪

      1/2 Cup salt is for baking without oven, to be put in thr kadhai/vessel not in the batter😁
