When I reach hem through indeed they say they don't use agency's do. Can you tell me how long it takes to get my first clime because I am putting in alot of efforts. Great vid Brianna. I'm tech too. What I prefer are targeting smalls co's who have no to minimal HR/internal rec. Not as many as I'd like in my country to thinking of reaching international. With modern tech no reason why we have to focus 100% on local markets, maybe even find remote jobs internationally for local based software engineers. Yep those follow ups are the real secret.

Thanks! What types of positions are you filling? Try looking up some of the big-name companies in your space and see what news outlets they've been published in. Look for daily or weekly newsletters to subscribe to as well.

Don’t focus on small companies if u want to become big focus on big companies that’s how you will learn. once you know how to work with big companies you can easily crack small companies any time you like. leaving hard way its the best way..

Thanks for all the awesome videos! Who would you say are the best people to reach out to in a potential client company? I've been told to not bother reaching out to HR or TA, but rather reach out to C-suite, Directors, VP's, etc. What are your thoughts? Thanks!

Depends on the company size. That rule to not reach out to TA or Recruiting used to be true a few years ago, however those teams are our friends now. We have finally joined together and we understand internal and external recruiters need each other. C suite only works if the company is 30 or less
I want to get business(new clients) in contract staffing for my company but I didn't see many companies have IT roles in contract. Some I found are having only 1 or 2 on linkedin/website/indeed and that too in non-IT...what should I do

Once you know X company is hiring, how do you get hold of a hiring manager to turn them in to my client? do you google company name and call the mainline and ask for HR mgr OR email them? how do I get their email? how to get new clients?

Sorry to hear, but you can bounce back! The videos are a good mix of recruiting advice and tactics about various topics that come to mind or questions from subscribers. If you want something more structured then the course is a good way to go. It's a start to finish as if I were training someone to work at my company.

Hi Catalina, I recruit in the tech industry so my course caters to to tech.
Just curious to know if HR Managers in the US ask for a cut on every hiring? In India, I have faced mostly Multinational HR's have a set of consultants who charge way above the market price and the HR keeps 2-4% of commission on every hire from his agency.
Thank you for all that you do!! I just started as a healthcare recruiter (nursing homes). I don't know who to reach out to. Director, D.O.N. human resource manager, Administrator. I have been reaching out to all. Who hires the recruiter?
I would think higher levels in HR. Such as VP, Director, or head of HR. You should go to the postings and see if it says anyone is in charge of that req.
When you reach out to clients, are you using the MPC method or just emailing about hiring for their openings in general? If so, can you share your subject line?
I think the MPC method works really well! Sometimes I pitch myself. I highly believe in 7 touches to grab someone's attention so I switch off my technique. My subject lines these days have been simple, "Hey first name". The reason is because it's SO crowded in biz dev right now and I want the person I am emailing to think I know them. My open rate is really high. It ranges from 80-95%. What are you currently doing?

What happens with a agency if they don't pay holiday pay and can you tell me do you claim universal credit
Are you working at an agency that doesn't pay vacation? Or are you asking if you have an agency should you pay for holiday pay? Regardless, most agencies pay people commission and therefore holiday is a bit irrelevant. A recruiter isn't required to work any specific day.
Regarding Claim universal credit: I'm in the US so we don't have that. Yet what I had was a draw pay. I'd pay $3,000 a month that they had to pay back against their commission. So essentially the $3k is a safety net for them.
do recruits abroad engineers to bring them to work in US or just engineers in US?
For my company at least, they are typically in the US or just relocated to the US.
I am feeling frustrated been in business for six months and I still do not have any job orders. what can I do ... I took classes that took my money and left me high and dry .
I'm sorry to hear that! Are you starting your own business? If you don't have any prior recruiting experience my suggestion would be to work for a recruiting agency for at least one year. You'll gain so much experience on both the client and candidate side and then you'll be ready to go off on your own.

I was wondering if you could give me any pointers or advise. I worked with a staffing company close to 20 years ago. I did cold calling to try to find leads/new clients. I only worked there for a few months and again thats been years ago so ive forgot alot of what i knew. But.... the reason i am asking for any advice is because my work shut down because of covid. So i have had to change fields. Im starting with a staffing company and my responsibility is to find new leads and clients. (Not the tech industry) Im a little nervous because of how many places have shut down because of covid. Can you tell me in your opinion what is the best way for me to get started on this. I really dont want to let the boss down especially after giving me a chance. But i dont even know where to start. 20 years ago i literally just grabbed a phone book and started calling companys but the world has changed alot since then. As a client recruiter for my agency, my biggest enemy is voicemail. Rarely are these answered. Your thoughts?
I personally wouldn't waste my time leaving voicemails. However, in my email outreach to them, I'll put in the subject "Just left you a message". Works every time! It feels like a warm lead

Some do. Most likely don't due to the nature of the job being commission based.
