Love the video but I think some of the tips work a lot better for North America than Europe. I work mostly in the UK and European market, I know that in some European countries (e.g. Germany) small talk in a professional setting is not very common and it could come across as unprofessional to ask about vacation plans in an initial outreach email. So I think the relevance of some of the advice in the video would depend on the cultural context really.

I personally like cheers. However I was literally in a candidate meeting two days ago and we were talking about everything getting to know each other and they were going off in saying how much they hate that as a greeting "cheers"... Just FYI

Hey Brianna, I have been experimenting with an unorthodox approach, I share a link to the JD and include the client name in a cold email or in mail. I am almost certain that the positive outweighs the risk of revealing the client name. I think it distinguishes me from all the other recruiters and that I get replies from people who would otherwise never reply to an agency recruiter. Any thoughts? Cheers.
