Well one can argue that the best parts of christianity which are the things that you mentioned are taken from Judaism and for context Judaism is a millenia older than christianity i mean whats your point? just because it predates it doesent make it right or wrong also Islam doesent deny Christianity or the Gospel no Islam says that the message of christianity is the same but was corrupted overtime meaning that yeah it makes sense that Islam has the same things since it is THE SAME MESSAGE! Muslims believe in it and in the Gospel as a holy book and allah says that the message is the same one that was sent to Abraham, Moses and Jesus meaning that yeah Islam is the final continuation of the message of god, disproving your point. I mean if Muslims dont believe that the Chrsitian message has any validity and dont believe that its a Abrahamic religion then maybe one can argue that Islam copied christianity but Islam doesent completely deny christianity it just emphasizes that its the continuation of it therefore it makes sense that there are similarities.

FROM SAHIH MUSLIM, VOLUME 2, #3432
Abu Said al-Khudri reported that at the Battle of Hunain Allah's messenger sent an army to Autas and encountered the enemy and fought with them. Having overcome them and taken them captives, the Companions of Allah's messenger seemed to refrain from having intercourse with captive women because of their husbands being polytheists. Then Allah, Most High, sent down regarding that: "And women already married, except those whom your right hands possess (Quran - 4:24), (i.e. they were lawful for them when their Idda (menstrual) period came to an end).
      FROM SAHIH BUKHARI - VOLUME 9, #506:
Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri that during the battle with Bani Al-Mustaliq they (Muslims) captured some females and intended to have sexual relations with them without impregnating them. So they asked the prophet about coitus interruptus. The prophet said, "It is better that you should not do it, for Allah has written whom He is going to create till the Day of Resurrection".
Qaza'a said, "I heard Abu Said saying that the prophet said, "No soul is ordained to be created but Allah will create it.""
      FROM SAHIH BUKHARI - VOLUME 5, #637:
Narrated Buraida: The prophet sent Ali to Khalid to bring the Khumus (part of the war booty) and I hated Ali, and Ali had taken a bath (after a sexual act with a slave girl from the Khumus). I said to Khalid, "Don't you see this (i.e. Ali)? When we reached the prophet I mentioned that to him. He said, "O Buraida! Do you hate Ali?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Do you hate him for he deserves more than that from the Khumus."
The note for 637 explains that Buraida hated Ali for taking from the Khumus, and Buraida thought that was not good.
      QURAN - 33:50
"Prophet, We have made lawful to you the wives whom you have granted dowries and the slave girls whom God has given you as booty;..."
      QURAN - 4:24
"And all married women are forbidden unto you save those captives whom your right hand possess. It is a decree of Allah for you.
FROM SAHIH MUSLIM, VOLUME 2, #3371
Abu Sirma said to Abu Said al Khudri: "O Abu Said, did you hear Allah's messenger mentioning about al-azl (coitus interruptus)?" He said, "Yes", and added: "We went out with Allah's messenger on the expedition to the Mustaliq and took captive some excellent Arab women; and we desired them for we were suffering from the absence of our wives, (but at the same time) we also desired ransom for them. So we decided to have sexual intercourse with them but by observing azl" (withdrawing the male sexual organ before emission of semen to avoid conception). But we said: "We are doing an act whereas Allah's messenger is amongst us; why not ask him?" So we asked Allah's messenger and he said: "It does not matter if you do not do it, for every soul that is to be born up to the Day of Resurrection will be born".
In the "Kitab al-Tabaqat al-Kabir", mention is made of Mariyah. On page 151, it says
"He [the Lord of Alexandria] presented to the prophet Mariyah, her sister Sirin, a donkey and a mule which was white....The apostle of Allah liked Mariyah who was of white complexion and curly hair and pretty.... Then he cohabited with Mariyah as a handmaid and sent her to his property which he had acquired from Banu al-Nadir."
The note for the word "handmaid" says "Handmaids gained the status of wedded wives if they bore children. They were called "umm walad" and became free.

While its international presence isn't on the same level and it often feels largely confined to Eastern Europe and parts of the Middle East, the way the Church has gone about establishing itself has always been less imposing. Essentially, "let them come to the faith". We don't understand the concept of evangelism in the same way. Forced conversions have been little in comparison to the Papist and Protestant institutions, though the future of the mission is certainly a point for debate as it's hard to establish a presence in this era.

The appeal of Islam to Gen Z in America is that Islam has some aspect of “tradition”. If you imagine you’re Gen Z and you’ve grown up without any kind of tradition, Islam could appeal to you. Think of how quickly the internet has accelerated the development of fads. Not that “fads” are traditions, but even the rate of the development of fads has been accelerated over the last decade and a half.
The irony though is Sneako (and probably a good portion of Gen Z that are looking for some sense of tradition) want tradition without the mechanisms and hierarchies that support it. If we don’t have a hierarchy, then anyone can make anything “traditional”. Ultimately, in the context that these people use the word “traditional,” the word is meaningless because it just implies a vague sense of social conservatism that just so happens to align with whatever that particular individual’s views on tradition are.
Furthermore, Islam isn’t even good at preserving this so called, “tradition.” Often, as soon as muslims move to western countries, they effectively leave the religion (especially by second and third generation). While I’m not going to claim that we don’t have a degree of this problem with Orthodoxy, I would argue that it happens at a substantially lower rate than that of Islam.

If they are going to talk about Christianity being some sort of crapshoot of Christologies I think the best way to refute that is to always remind them that Mohammed regularly abrogated his own teachings at a moments notice, and justified this by saying that he could abrogate anything he had previously said according to stature (could arbitrarily transmogrify the words that came from “god”himself). Strange that someone who is the ultimate authority on truth in a given ideology gives himself carte Blanche to situationally abrogate and that anyone would continue to take him seriously. Also, why doesn’t anybody ever talk about the fact that Mohammed had seven wives besides the nine-year-old with which to satiate himself (literally couldn’t stop at 7), because if this man is superior to, or the continuity of a prophet named Yeshua but unlike that prophet is so sexually addicted that he cannot resist the urge to penetrate a prepubescent girl then we have a problem. Izlam would literally have us believe that we go from a celibate prophet to a sexual addict, ascending all the while. Makes absolutely no sense.

    • @nunya54
      @nunya54 Рік тому +2

They were not his teachings. They were from revelation.
If you look at all the reason for his marriages, they would not be the choices of a man who was sexually addicted as they were mostly widowed, older women. One of them was so old she would give her up days with him. If he had carte blanche, given his status, he could have picked other women more in line with what normal men pick much less powerful men. The Quran also says he could not change those wives and was not allowed to divorce them to get new wives. Of course, being a prophet, he is not a regular person but better and able to handle these things as an example. I'm not sure Christians could honesty talk about these things though as they believe in prophets who had more wives and young wives as well.
Also, because most people know historically and biologically, his wife was not prepubescent and the source material makes that clear. She was withing the normal age range of girls that got married at that time, between 9-12 when they could conceive children, which of course, makes them not children themselves. Christians, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, everyone around the world got married then and none of them made any mention of his marriage to her for 1300 years; a clear sign. It doesn't not make sense since other prophets before Jesus also had multiple wives as well as the Jews and Christians and pre-Islamic Arabs all had multiple wives. That would have made sense to absolutely everyone at that time which is why the critics of Islam don't mention it then which, of course, they would have it if it was considered abnormal or immoral. Only modern people who don't know religion (or religious books) find anything wrong with any of that. Christians were getting married at younger ages than her and there are Jewish sources that have even younger ages; so yea, that was nothing of note or concern.
There was a reason for all of his marriages and you can find plenty of people talking about his wives, specifically his youngest wife all over UA-cam. It's one the topics the enemies or uneducated like to bring up (often hypocritically, especially if they're Christian) which makes no sense and exposes ignorance, which is understandable or hypocrisy, which is just evil.

That is, those who were born and raised in a Muslim country and families. And considering that they have 5 children each, then yes, of course their number will grow. He also does not want to remember that there were "caliphs" in Islamic countries before, in fact it is the same as a ruler and a spiritual leader. Almost the same as what is now in Iran, for example, and further down the structural ladder. Also, about how, for example, new Muslims are being converted in Russia. An Imam is assigned to them so that he studies the Koran with him, and so that his brain could not turn on in time and he could understand what a nightmare and immoral world he is going to. They argue that "shaitan" (the devil) will seduce you and send doubts into your head. About grammatical errors in the Koran, and about the fact that it is rewritten from Syrian Christian /Jewish books like the same Torah, I will not say anything, so you know it, I think. It is also not worth mentioning that according to one of the reliable hadiths, the last few pages of the Quran were eaten by a pituh or someone else X) So there is not much smell of "Unchangeable teaching" here, especially thanks to hadiths, heaps of different interpretations (which sometimes arise due to the fact that there is either a mistake in the words of the Koran, or it is a poorly translated Syriac word).

@@valsett3385 (Detailed response) Most of the explanations for these concerns can be found in TheArchive (Sam Shamoum's videos).
I don't find 'Allah' deserving of my worship, and the God he claims to be, supposedly just and fair, doesn't align with my beliefs. I grew up in a practicing household, understanding the concept of Allah, which, in my view, differs significantly from the God worshipped by Christians.
Upon entering a private Islamic school post-reception, I encountered a version of Islam that concealed its negative aspects, especially since we were children. While girls were not mistreated, we were mandated to wear hijabs from a young age (4 years old), and we were told it was merely part of the uniform. Only later did we realize its purpose was for modesty, not just a fun dress code.
Transitioning to an all-girls Islamic secondary school, I experienced a stricter environment. Any lapse in the modesty of our headscarves led to scolding, and teachers would subject us to humiliation by making us wear a more childlike, slip-on scarf. The school's mission seemed to be on control and humiliation to prevent deviation from expected behaviour. For instance, wearing ankle socks or using perfume resulted in public shaming for being immodest, (perfume was forbidden because the teachers understood we walk past men on the street when walking to school.)
We were even told to whisper in public, as our 'female' voices were considered attractive to men. Disgustingly, we were taught that Aisha was favoured by Mohammed because she was the youngest among his wives. This reinforce the notion that a woman's worth in Islam primarily revolves around pleasing her husband.
While men's needs were addressed, women's emotional needs were largely ignored. Islamic teachings focused on women fulfilling their duty to their husbands, as exemplified by the mentioned hadith. " No woman can fulfill her duty towards Allah until she fulfills her duty towards her husband. If he asks her (for intimacy) even if she is on her camel saddle, she should not refuse.' ”
This skewed emphasis on men's desires without addressing women's emotional needs raised questions in my mind about the fairness of God.
The disparity became more evident when considering the supposed rewards in heaven, particularly the concept of male believers being surrounded by 72 beautiful houri women whom they can have their way with consistently, while wives may face emotional neglect from their husbands. This raised concerns about the unequal treatment of genders in Islam, especially in matters of emotional fulfillment. Imagine entering heaven with your family, only to witness your father deflowering houris while being married to your mother? Would you be okay with that?
Islam is a religion for men, and Christianity is a religion for everyone.

In my journey i wasn't religious all my life but accidently my aunt who believed in spiritism gave me a adventist book without knowing, with curiosity i've read it and started searching, i bought a Bible and started studying it, God touched me and one year and a half later i've read the entire Bible for the first time and i really love theology. It's really funny that i didn't really like to read before i started reading the Bible, now i really like to read. I know that there are conflict among Christians, Catholics, Orthodox (of all kinds), Protestants and even Messianic Jews, but i'm sure that before the end we will all unite under the same flag. @IsabellaKathryn of which catholic priests do all this but still end up abusing and raping young boys. You still call men father despite being told not to. Do these "fathers" have to be baptised and receive the holy spirit. And once they have received the Holy spirit why do they go on to abuse. The Catholic Church is the richest entity on earth whilst people go hungry. Do you really thing Jesus would have agreed with this. Do you think that he would have agreed to the building of great cathedrals in his name rather than use the wealth spent on that to feed and home poor. Or the building of the snake head paul VI auditorium at the Vatican. Do you think he would have agreed with all the man made tradition, the silk robes ect. All these things show that the holy spirit is spread very thin in the Catholic church. Tell me how a priest who is baptised, studies all that you have said and filled with the Holy spirit still ends up abusing children. Tell me why the Catholic church is not the poorest church in the would due to doing the work of Christ and helping the many in poverty.

15:00 When it comes to "removing books" I think it is coming from two things:
    1. Apocryphal texts not becoming canon, though this wasn't really settled at Nicea and is making the Bible in the first place rather than removing books from it
    2. The Protestant Bible actually removes some old testament books from the common Catholic/Orthodox canon. And some Orthodox bibles do have more books than a typical Catholic one.

All the prophets in the Old Testament foretold Christ. John the Baptist was the last of the prophets who pointed to Christ. Christ is the Messiah and Savior. Why would God then send another prophet to the Arabs? A prophet that denied the Lordship of Christ. What the Arabs needed was an evangelist to preach the gospel to them. What they got instead was a false prophet who led them away from Christ and who created a religion to rival Christianity. Muhammad himself initially thought that the being communicating with him was a demon.

    • @nunya54
      @nunya54 Рік тому

Well, one there were prophecies of two messiahs in the Old Testament and some of them don't fit Jesus but do fit Muhammad and the Jews were very aware of this which is why they left their lush homelands to go to the harsh deserts of Arabia (for Mount Paran, Tema/Teiman in the Bible). They also have other prophecies, that again, fit Muhammad and not Jesus or any other prophet (the hamdah, the chariot of camels, the burden of Arabia who would fight the sons of Kedar, etc). That might make sense at why appoint another prophet except why did Paul and the gospel writers come later after Jesus to say anything at all? It wasn't or shouldn't have been necessary after Jesus.
What he thought does not mean that is what it was and we can see similar encounters of Gabriel in the Bible causing people fear (his true form would be scary to anyone). It was a Christian who actually confirmed this revelation was the same Angel that brought revelation before (not that it was needed to be confirmed by anyone since the revelation itself stands on its own).
What they got actually was a prophet that lead them TO Christ and who lead to millions of people believing in Christ, which, if Islam was all about him and he was false, why would he do that? Why would his revelation from himself if he's false speak more about Jesus than himself? Why not change the whole story? Why not call himself the messiah or God too and make himself greater or at least equal to Jesus. He doesn't do that. He says he came with the same message as him but that was not needed to convince the Arabs. They would not need to know about Christ to convince them to be Muslim. So he would have had no reason to speak about Christ to the Arabs. They weren't with Christ before, so he didn't lead them from him. They weren't going to be Christian nor was anyone really caring that they were (no one would even care about the Arabs now if they didn't have Islam or any wealth, like oil). The world did not have any found appreciation for the Arabs, not then, not now really (it's one reason people reject Islam but don't realize it. Just like the Jews did though they knew the signs of him. He wasn't a Jew so they rejected him.

I'm also curious why the Christians the closest to Jesus are considered heretics. The Ebionites, Nazarenes, . . . most of Christendom are referred to as heretics and non-Christians. Them believing he was a prophet is what they took from his early teachings. They were the Jews who believed in him, from amongst his own people, who lived and died and witnessed his actions. That is why Christian scholars like John Toland asked, how is it possible to be the first of all others (for they were made to be the first heretics), who should form wrong conceptions of the doctrines and designs of Jesus? And how did the Gentiles who only believed in Jesus after his death from the preaching and information of people that never knew Jesus, have truer notions of doctrine and Jesus or when could they have their information from the believing Jews.
Isn't that strange that the people for three centuries followed Jesus and then only after the state got involved and Christianity was imposed upon them did they take Jesus as God??

You are such a remarkable speaker Kyle. And I am so happy you are holding people to account. The cynic in me thinks Sneako has an agenda (corporate/state sponsor), but I think you are right in saying that he may actually be genuinely interested in Islam. He seems to think he has a Socratic mode of questioning, but I feel he has been taken down the garden path and is far too resolute in his answers and his pride will ultimately betray him. I personally come from a Hindu Universalist background, which made me open to religious perspectives until I felt Christ as a tangible God, with his arm around my shoulder shepherding me to the truth and displaying the fall of Adam and liberation from death through faith in Him. Islam and Judaism to an extent present a limited relationship with God; one without redemptive hope - so surely thats a hard sell? Yet, why are the numbers increasing for Islam and decreasing for Christianity? As I started to go to Church (over 12 years ago now), my ability to question (one thing I am grateful for with respect to my universalist upbringing) the very nature of worship (I was in a Baptist setting but now attend an Anglican Church as I crave the liturgy). Western Christianity has by its design taken people BACK into the grip of the fall, because through it, we come to venerate false prophets; be it the prophets of Mormonism, Sharia Law, materialism, communism or even fascism. My experiences are teaching me that the fall is the place we need to start from again, otherwise this degeneracy will just continue. Thank you for a wonderful talk. God bless you Kyle. Amen

Islam is a simple religion, we believe in one God and that God has revealed messengers throughout history to remind us of why we have been created. Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the final messenger and the 5 pillars of Islam are as follows:
    1. The Shahada - Accept that there is no God except Allah and Muhammad is his messenger
    2. The prayer - 5 daily Prayers
    3. Zakat - 2.5% of your wealth to be given in charity
    4. Fasting - Fasting 30 days of Ramadan
    5. Pilgrimage (hajj) - travel to Mecca (if you are financially capable)
