My A. Ezendami built a turret as well. She has a coconut hide and built a turret attached to the coconut hide. It’s so neat looking. Great video as always!!

Why did the thumbnail of this video look like you have elf ears? I mean, It also looks like you are in the process of feeding yourself one of the worms… But that didn’t catch my attention as much as the pointy elf ears. Was not intentional? Why though?
I love that you just sit there talking about what you're feeding your tarantulas and just going about your normal day while wearing elf ears. You're like, "Nothing to see here folks."
You are so nonchalant and amazing. Those look like they belong on you. You would make a perfect elk princess and all of your babies would have eight legs and your kingdom would be a giant "silked" up beautiful enclosure..( did I just make up a word? I've had my P. Irminia sling (roughly 2-3cm) for a month today and yet she/he is yet to molt. The abdomen looks shiny, big and black (although it's always been a dark sling) as if it's in premolt but it's still taking food.
There's not much on the internet about this species when they're slings from what I can find and wanted to know if you had any information on whether this is normal or it should have molted by now.

Sometimes you just have to be patient and wait for them to molt. It can take a few days for them to molt when they're in premolt.
@@_sweetdreams_529 That's what I've read up but it seems to have been like this for a few weeks which had me concerned. I've never dealt with a sling before and I know they can be fragile.
It seems to be happy webbing up its enclosure and taking down small crickets so I'll leave it be. Thanks for the info :)
Hi Nathan , your P. irmina will molt. I have had them as slings before and mine seem to molt within 3 weeks to a month of me having them. They are excellent eaters and rarely refuse food. I would feed mine every week. Oh and my slings were like 3/4 "

It's funny that your M. robustum didn't want to eat. Mine eats until premolt and you can clearly see the bald rump when she is ready. I fed mine 3 small crickets yesterday. She ate 1 every 15 minutes it was crazy! All 3 of them equaled about the size of a full grown superworm. The crazy part is there was nothing left each time. Legs and all were gone! Oh and she is around 5 inches ore more. The last molt measured at 4 and 3/4 inches. Love the videos!

Yeah, that channel is great. It's a completely different take on the hobby. I love how he tries to emulate the habitat he finds the T's in within his enclosures.

hey, kat? i wonder if you could put up the little captions like for when you're making your Ts speak just a tiny bit longer so we can read them or at least have a chance to pause and read? theyre only up there for a split second and i have a hard time pausing in time :(

The procedure to get elf ears doesn't always yeild the results you want. Also, not everyone wants to look like that ALL the time, just sometimes, so getting a permanent thing done is redundant

God I miss my Tarantulas! I had to leave my apartment due to the covid scare. It's been a week! Won't probably be back in three more weeks. Good thing I have my roommate that can water them. But still a month without seeing them!
