RC is comfortable and spacious but driving fun and handling is a couple notches below honestly the motors aren't far off i love the NA V6 in the RC 350 but you have to get the F sport
Bought my 2017 this past fall, 26k miles. If you're contemplating a used F with 6-speed manual, be sure to check out the "clutch story".. Lucky to have had a new gen. 4 clutch installed before I bought, because the earlier gens get eaten up. Gen 4 clutch part number is T2R27466. Otherwise, so far so good, think I have a good Jaguar dealer to work with, and have a bit over 1 year left on factory warranty.
I’ve had mine for about 3 months now- certified 2017 premium w/ 17k miles. The amount of turn around looks and thumbs up I get is insane! Loud, fast, easy to drive. 10/10 best car I’ve owned so far.
@@bgoodie4584 I still have it! Just hit 40k miles. Gonna buy the extended warranty just in case but as of now no issues and still in love and turning heads ❤️
Yeap, they look great... I completely left it off my shortlist, then randomly saw one at a red light after I purchased my car. We both had temporary tags.
Yea it's an awesome ride yet we all forget about it. Def a used car gem but LC still takes it but for those that despise Japanese cars and needs a Foreign Euro car, this Jag is the one
I tested the V8, before buying the F-Type S for a daily driver. The S has as much as I ever need in city driving and I only ever get beat by my buddies recent year Z06. I have a 2015 and 2WD is a bit of a handful. But I'm OK with that - that will always be the limiting factor. The way I bought it - I bought as a 3yo ex-lease vehicle. There have been some reliability complaints with the model. But the lessee was obliged to keep to the service interval, and it was under warranty so would always have had failed items fixed and it's possible to see any accidents it had been in. Mine had a spotless record and I felt it was almost better than a brand new vehicle. Since then, I had 1 issue, where I was breaking hard with an almost empty fuel tank. I stirred up the gunk in the tank......and I blew a fuel injector. Then I blew a second one a week after I got it back after being repaired. But a. Always use Top Fuel and b. add a fuel additive every so often.......and c. don't drive like a gorilla and it's not a problem. The entry level 911 (for an additional $10,000) wins the 0-60 by a small margin. But the Jaguar comes back in the standing 1/4 thanks to the divine ZF transmission. VERY few people can shift with a stick anything like as fast as paddles & ZF. So the 1/4 mile may almost be a tie. Honestly, put both F-Type S and 911 on the track and the Porsche wins, eventually. But we don't drive them on the track, we drive them on the roads and that is where the Jaguar is SO much fun.
went through 20k miles in the first gen f type r (rwd) and id highly recommend getting the r. it is insanely loud and very fast. it is pretty cramped though if you are over 6 feet tall
I've always really liked Jaguars, they either have really good exteriors or really good lookin interiors and this one is no different 😀, thanks again for another fantastic video bro
Great review!! I just sold a 2.0 Supra and 21 Honda type r . Great cars but this is on another level just picked up a 2018 v6 santorini black with red interior. Best sounding v6 under 100k hands down. Crackles and pops are all day, rawness the m2 did not have, and drives really good. Definitely more gt than sport but a real good blend of both.
Ay... I got my 16' in Raleigh. Love the thing to pieces and its a joy to work on. Have it tuned with velocity AP, lowering springs, and pulley/belt upgrades. More to come...
Brilliant review. This is simply a magnificent car, and my dream car. I have an XFS Portfolio, which is beautiful, powerful and elegant. The F-Type is the only car I would trade up for.
My first F-Type was a 2016 base 340 bhp version - 0-60: 5secs & 161mph...yeah, the rubbish one!! It was metallic dark blue with alcantara /contrasting ivory interior with those 19" diamond cut Orbit alloys. Wow that is such a unique idea 💡 but probably about as well as an RC 350 because that's supposed to be the obtainable Lexus coupe. But even if they did produce something as cool as that with a manual, I still don't think anyone would buy it because "car people" seriously don't like this thing. Great review 👍 Once again, love your style and credibility. By the way, speaking of credible... Dude, did you see Stradmans Bugatti vs Tuatarra video? You could see promotional dollars slipping through his teeth like an atm dispenser. Shameless. If I were that Shelby dude, I would pay him not to post that video. It was like if a teletubby were high on coke and had to do a promotion for his next hit. The Tuatarra doesn't need any of that hype, the car is rediculously captivating in all aspects. It speaks for itself. Bad call on Shelby's part. But, once again, thanks for being the anti promotional-prostitute.
Thanks so much my friend Im humbled by that. And no I have not I do not follow the Stradman actually. And yes playing kiss up is the new norm now objective car reviewing is a thing of the past. New M3 and M4 came out and this big UA-camr is saying all these nice things about it because the BMW PR guy was there when he was doing the vid. These "reviewers" want press cars and more access so they resort to being the PR people's best friend to move up the ladder it's gross. I hate the acting and the animated personalities these mainstream reviewers put on and this is why I picked up a camera and started reviewing cars myself
Aaaawesome man. There's nothing more refreshing than a man being a man and standing in his own convictions. That type of thing is rare in any sector of mankind. Good for you!

I prefer my XK since I don't have to choose between which of my bitches I take with me since my beagle can go in the backseat.
Appreciate that my friend
Put the GoPro on the outside of a car like an F Type. No one cares about your thoughts boring us to death within the quiet interior. You have a V6 F Type, mate. That’s all we want to hear.

Picking that over a 911 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

“Far more fun than any bmw is” lol it’s a good car but you’ve clearly never driven any M4, M5, or M2’s...smh.
Except I've driven all of them smh 🤦 have you?
@@MeynMotorGroup all of them except the M5 and they are much faster. If this was the f type R then that’d be a different story, but it’s not.
An ND 2 Miata is the most fun out of all of these and it would be the least powerful. High HP cars are a waste and not fun in the United States.
@@MeynMotorGroup well that’s your opinion and I can respect that
That's all cars are subjective opinions buy whatever makes you happy 😊
