This is an awesome song.It has been almost a very long time since I started learning songs on guitar online and I thank you Justin and Marty for being the best I could find. You guys teach in a way makes me feel like home.Sorry if this has got nothing to do with the video.
Justin, please do some of Townes van Zandt songs! I would die for Nothin', but any fingerstyle of him would be more than appreciated. He was the best folk singer-songwriter out there and he deserves a lesson :)
I'd love to bang some ideas back and forth on how to pull off a decent solo without letting the acoustic bottom drop out (assuming one guy or gal, one guitar, no looper). Great work young man!
hey man i realy like your videos. only today you teached me 4 songs : pretty woman, born to be wild , norwegian wood and im on fire , in only 2 hours. thank you for that and greatings from germany

Now, Justin, everyone who loves toe-tappers will go get their steel-stringed acoustic guitars and, with them in Concert Tune A=440hz, will get right amongst your tutorial, and jam with the Stones over and over, as I'm doing at this very moment... jammin' with them !
Townes Van Zandt was an American treasure with a songbook that stacks up to that of Guthrie, Prine, Seeger, Dylan, Clark, Mitchell, Foster, and such. While he penned literally thousands of songs, he covered Dead Flowers, which was written by Keef & Mick. But, as the master of “Less is More”, the fact that Townes recorded it speaks volumes to the soulfulness and edge of the lyric and simplicity of the melody.
Justin please do a lesson on Madame Helga by stereophonics, I really want to learn it but it's not on UA-cam and I can't read music either. It would be so helpful. Thanks
You're a great guitarist and the Stones a great band. I like you're method of teaching and I'm on a kick right now with Eric Clapton. Can you teach us the circus by Clapton?
Hello! Thank you for the video. There are three different strumming patterns in this song. I uploaded my video of Dead flowers too, but it is not yet final.
Hi Justin, how are you, thanks for the hard work!! I am following your intermediate course and really enjoying it, any chance you could do more NEIL YOUNG song please!!! "Tell me why" maybe? cheers Luca - UK
Justin, I wonder where you are on the Taylor vs. Wood debate - since you are an expert. I saw them both play with the Stones in Philly in 2013. Great, great stuff!
There is no debate. Wood is a great player, but even trying to compare him with Mick Taylor should be against the law. Nothing will ever come close to their live '72 - '73 sets. In terms of lead work, Ronnie on his best possible day cannot hold a candle to Taylor on his worst day (which he hasn't had yet). It's simply an unfair comparison. Not even on the level of technique - MT just has a musical pathos very, very few can attain. It's too bad his ability was mostly always capped in the studio. Live though? Forget about it. Ronnie's a super cool guy, but come on.

CUBE DA BOB CUBING'S THE BEST Mate if someone is capable of beginning to learn Paradise City he's well over intermediate level.Justin's aim is to give a good base to new comers, rest is your own journey.🍻
always kinda liked this song. it was taught to me in C....progression is C G C and then GF C....i think. seems to work like that...? or am i dreaming.....he he.
There are people with small minds, who due to their inability to make it in life, feel they wield some sort of power with 'dislikes" on UA-cam and elsewhere. Certainly, true musicians wouldn't do that.
You play well, but it's a shame that you continue without placing the tabs for those who do not speak English and we do not understand it when listening.(Google Traductor)
CT Well CT those beginners can obviously see the chords fingering and can see/hear the strumming. That's all there is in this lesson.Chords & Strumming. 🍻
Been strumming this for 45+ years. Came here knowing Justin would show us the correct way to play it. BEST AND PEACE
The very first song that I learned to play on guitar. Great place to start. Great gateway song to start a guitar addiction.

Greatest guitar instructor on UA-cam! Period. Very grateful for your instruction. Never stop! Please throw in a few more advanced lessons if you can.
That is one cracking song!Superb for beginners and doesn't even sound like a typical Stones song, excellent for anyone to enjoy,no matter what level.

Picking up the guitar for the first time in 30 years. Thanks for making easy to find the fun again.
Wow, two videos in the same day, you're spoiling us Justin! 😆
I'd love to bang some ideas back and forth on how to pull off a decent solo without letting the acoustic bottom drop out (assuming one guy or gal, one guitar, no looper). Great work young man!

I would love to see any clips of you in a Stones tribute band. Anything on UA-cam please? Cheers, Martin
Just subscribed. The best lesson on breaking down the bars.
Great lesson, thanks ✌🏻
The Townes Van Zandt version (Song at the end of the Big Lebowsky movie) is a really great cover of this! :)
Not sure but i think that was the original. Stones covered it.
This will always be Townes' song
@@joedian1399 I always thought that, too.

Cameron murie I thought the same thing too. I'm pretty sure the Townes Van Zandt version follows this progression
With a Capo it'd work
Why would anyone dislike this?

5 idiots
+J Brooks
Or some people have different opinions? God it's like some people here skipped kindergarten
Simple answer: JEALOUSY
Because I had to sit through 4 min of BS and chit-chat to get to the actual lesson.
Justine is the shit.
Could you teach the solo please :)))))
Could you please do another brick in the wall by pink floyd?
Or Time by Pink Floyd please?
Please. Put the notes used in the description of vídeo ;)
Sounds great. Should be a little rough. It ain't Dokken. The Stones sound human.
I don't think you sing bad. Actually, i think you have a nice voice to sing.
Jus give us some of the licks!
You play well, but it's a shame that you continue without placing the tabs for those who do not speak English and we do not understand it when listening.(Google Traductor)

As always, thank you Justin! This will be my video tomorrow! If you get a chance I would be honored by your feedback on my channel!
I'm here to play like Jackstauber not the Rolling Stones
Play the licks
Better than the stones version! Sorry I just don’t think the Stones pulled this one off.
Thank you, so nice! Dead Flowers, GRAM PARSON's Energy! Sticky Fingers?! Oh yeah!
