Wow ☺️ I’m so happy for him!!!! I had him as an art teacher for 2 years and man he was the best teacher I could’ve asked for!!!! He truly deserves this makeover for sure ❤️ always has a smile on his face and loves to make jokes! Congratulations Chinkhota 🎊 I can’t wait to see the final result!!!!
Aw, that's awesome! He is definitely deserving!
Without a doubt, Mr. C deserved this awesome project for his classroom, his current students and all the ones to come. I was lucky enough to be part of his class many years ago and I absolutely hold him in high regards. He's an amazing teacher, the kind you never forget.
He IS an amazing teacher! Thank you for watching the video; we are so grateful to give back to him!
Wow! great job!
I live in the same building downstairs in Room 136, and it is not an art room but a biology room. My room has never been renovated, maybe since 1966 :(. The lab section is nonfunctional. I did some changes to improve it, but I may start to put an action plan in place to change this reality and make improvements to the status of my class. I welcome any types of help and support :)
That sounds like an old biology room! It's unfortunate that the lab section isn't functional but there are ways to make small improvements to make the space more welcoming and friendly for students! Best of luck on your classroom project.
A fresh coat of paint can fix almost anything! Love the idea for this show. I have gutted 3 separate classrooms and it's always a fun process to start fresh and remove all the unnecessary clutter.
It's a lot of work but so rewarding! Plus, the students benefit greatly from a bright and clean learning space!
What a fantastic project! As an art teacher it is sometimes hard to know what to keep and what to toss...everything can be a supply! So, having help from others who understand is very helpful. Can't wait to watch the process and learn.
Absolutely! Stay tuned for more episodes!

I'm sorry, did I mishear something? Did he say he can have 35-40 in a class?
Unfortunately, you did not mishear that!
I just love this! So excited for this teacher, can't wait to see the results!
Stay tuned! The next video is coming on Thursday. 😊
he really deserved this, i never had him as a teacher when i was at the school but he was so welcoming and friendly to everyone making sure we got to class on time and other stuff 🥹
He's SO welcoming and we wanted his room to reflect that!
You so deserve this... You are the best.
He is the best! He was a blast to work with.
Why is there a banana duct taped to the wall?
It's a nod to the famous artwork, Comedian by Maurizio Cattlelan.
My room is BIG with high ceilings and 4 storage rooms with doors; mine is the envy of much of the building that was built in 1958. I have natural light, 2 entries from the hall and a door to the outside. BUT-I often say that this room is like a purse-the bigger it is the more stuff you keep in it😏
I inherited a retiring teacher’s materials 16 years ago and while I’ve sifted through most of it, I can certainly afford a thorough purge. I just haven’t been able to organize the space in a way that makes sense and it’s kind of embarrassing!
Our district just passed a levy for new elementary buildings after a couple campaigns. Our high school is scheduled to be updated to last 30 more years, supposedly getting new heating, a new roof and A/C (finally). I would love to finish my career-I’m in year 28 in Ohio, in a refreshed space that I’m proud to pass down to a new teacher!
This was a fun episode and it made me dream a bit!
Thank you for watching, Jill! It sounds like you have a lovely and spacious classroom to work with. Hope you gained lots of inspiration and motivation to tackle your purging project with this episode!
😊THANKS for showing how teachers come together. I have been in my art room for since 2000. What I love about the room is the size, windows and flexibility of arrangement. What I want to love about my room is adequate storage in the room and in the storage room which is huge but needs better organization. I would love a team of help too here at Largo High School. Looks like you all were having a great time in Baltimore... can't wait to see how the classroom evolves.
Windows are super important so we're glad you love your windows! Stay tuned for future episodes later this week where we share storage ideas you can bring into your art room!
I love this man; he is genuine and cares about his student's family and more. I wish he were my teacher!!
He is SO genuine and we enjoyed working with him!
Thank you flor share this. A real art room!
Definitely a real art room! It's so relatable, isn't it?!
