January 2025 New year, new start in our life

Hi I live in northern Sweden and have done so all my life.
Our year 2024, has been terribly difficult when we lost my parents-in-law, who have been in my life for 30 years, so the loss is enormous. The last words my mother-in-law said to me were: thanks for everything. Three words that hold so much love.
Hello all the wonders who visit me.
We celebrated the new year in the cabin, really cold, we had a lot of fires in the boiler room, it felt like we were bringing in wood all the time, the coldest we had was -28 degrees celsius.
But out in the evening we caught this nice Northern Lights.
We dealt with a little of each, opened up the baker's hut, shorter walks with Ludde found nice scooter tracks behind the house, got our old scooter started so the son took a turn around the farm, went to IKEA for a bit of shopping, grilled hamburgers tried the pizza oven, watched the sunset, invited the neighbors for coffee, so there was some bun baking.
Have also renovated the kitchen a bit as we plan to buy a dishwasher.
Have also squeezed in a cinema visit with a restaurant visit with my son and my little sister and her 2 boys.
