Beautiful city! Macedonia is in the Bible as well. A bit of history to add, The Apostle Paul went there to preach and one of the early churches began there. It is a place mentioned many times in the gospel.
Macedonia is a region in Greece. This one is the North Macedonia and has nothing in common with Greece. Pavle also Ancient Greece and ancient Macedonia are the same thing. That’s like saying that ancient Sparta or ancient Athens or ancient Thessaly weren’t Ancient Greek because they were their own nation at the time.
