February 2022 Stage IV Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (spreading to Brain, and other parts of lung and lymph nodes)
Gene Mutation EGFR with Exon 20 Insertion
TREATMENTS: Received or currently Receiving
2021: 8 Rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin and Paclitaxel) with 30 concurrent radiation treatments to chest and lung
Failed Immunotherapy directly after Chemo and Radiation (Durvalumab, 1 round)
2022: Chemotherapy
10 rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin, Alimta, and Avastin)
6 with Carboplatin, 4 without
Targeted Brain Radiation (Completed)
CURRENT TREATMENT:
I am on a clinical trial for my specific gene mutation

The purpose of my channel is to document my cancer journey to look back on, and/or help anyone else going through anything similar. It is also to potentially help loved ones supporting those who are in this fight as well. This is also an easy way to update a lot of people at once. My main goal is to have footage of this journey for my husband and children to look back on. I originally created this channel as a sort of video diary for my
family.

Jenny, JENNY JENNY, Why did you make me love you? How is it even possible to miss, cry and grieve over someone I've never even met? This video of you, dear Jenny, was overwhelming for me. It's just not fair that you had to leave your beautiful family and all of us viewers that you so deeply touched. Enjoy your ride, sweet Jenny- and I look forward to one day meeting you. Meanwhile, rest in peace knowing so many are praying for and looking after your beautiful family.
Now the Christmas town has more meaning. I started following Jenny less than 6 months ago, I feel like I have to go back when I’m ready and watch from the beginning to see more of the real Jenny, a person that has touched so many.
Love you Jenny, and I hope your Christmas is the best in heaven. Kyle and the kids are doing good. Your kids are absolutely life savers. And Winnie looks so much like you more and more everyday 😢❤ love you friend see you again

Regarding your nausea, would you be able to drink warm ginger water? It’s basically steeping either grated ginger or a small piece of ginger in hot water.

Ok I’m trying to guess the bucket list. Key words are kids book you live in Cali. It’s around Christmas time. I’m still stumped. Thought maybe a ski trip to somewhere there. Or could it be like Disney on ice. But I don’t think you’d use the word book for show tickets. Is there some kind of Christmas polar express type thing in Cali. I know I’ll keep trying to figure this out.

Jenny, .... electrolytes --- make sure you aren't depleted after dealing with the issues you are going through --- being down on those will make you feel weird and cause tons of other symptoms. Your tenacity through all this is inspiring!

you can take Imodium every day. Beans, no. I have Gastroparesis and I take Imodium almost every day. If I am going to be home I don't but anytime I go out to eat for sure I do. Also if that doesn't work well you can ask your doc about Lomotil. You guys have such fun days even if you aren't feeling so great.

I love who you are. I am om a cancer journey of my own. We washed all the coverings in the living room..(dog hair). I was the one to put it back. It was hard for me but I got it done. Now we need to go to tree farm and get tree, it's a process.

Hi Jenny, thank you for the vlogmas 6. It must be so hard for you to accept that your energy is limited. You like to do the Christmas decorations yourself, and together with the children. And almost every day another side effect from the medication. I have respect for you, you are so brave. You do the post all together with Kyle and the children. I miss you so much ❤ We all will meet one day. Love to you all . i know 2023 this year will be difficult, but when my daughter passed away in 1999 from terminal brain tumor and our Mother 2 months before her with Lung Cancer (smoking LC) unexpectedly we didnt feek much like decorating for the holidays and we did anyway for our 3 little tots & 2 elementary kids and our new born (he was 3 months by Xmas) so what we did is we got our smaller tree and done the best we could. My brain was still in shock so I dint remember much of that year. The children however were happy. The ones old enough to understand about Grandma and their oldest sister took it hard. It was difficult, but my kids got me through it, kept me busy, especislly our new baby boy whom was born with Down Syndrome. Hes the one that helped me get my mind away from dark places. First it was God that helped me get through all that and then our children. The older daughter helped her Mommy Immensely. As Lee got older (our Down Syndrome son ) he helped me so very much bringing so much needed Joy to our home. He is a complete blessing. They all are. And Leeah (the one that passed that june 7th 1999 at 04:30 on a Monday.) So we were blessed with 7# children. I couldnt of of made it through without God and my beautiful children. The terminal brain tumor gave us PTSD though. Each one of my children were scared they were goung to get one when they turned 18years old. I ended up getting an MRI because I was terrified. My daughter suffered with this brain tumor. Its called DIPG or Pontine Glioma 💜🕊 💟 miss my mom and my daughter and now Jenny 💖🕊🐞🌹💖

December 6th is the Feast of St. Nicholas! In Germany, the kids put their shoes outside the housefoor and St. Nicholas comes in the night and gills them with treats!
Poor, beautiful Jenny! D is a regular symptom of my colitis flares. Such a nightmare. I feel for you. Only low dose steroids allow me to eat a very limited diet. I stay dairy and gluten free. I hope these symptoms pass quickly. Much love!
