Celebrex is a non- steroidal medication used for inflamation. I'm just a little surprised that Jenny was made to believe it was a pain killer. It has some very serious side effects (heart problems, ulcers etc & was almost taken off the market. I know it makes no sense to write this now, after losing Jenny, but people count on their doctors' honesty. They could be seriously hurt otherwize.
@V3ganBr33 It makes no sense to write this because your comment makes no sense 😂 Yes, Celebrex (celecoxib) is an NSAID. An NSAID used to treat PAIN and inflammation, just like aspirin and ibuprofen. Surely there's a reason her care team chose an NSAID over another type of pain med
To all the amazing Doctors, Nurses, Allied Health Care Professionals and non clinical support at City of Hope THANKYOU for the care you are taking of Jenny and all the Patients in your care. I wish you all peace and happiness this Holiday Season and we are so grateful for your work 🙏
I agree 100%! I'm a medically retired Oncology RN and it was so seldom we received appreciation for all we did. Everyone's job in a hospital is important, no matter what you do ❤🙏🏼
I love that your team sees your videos and videos I hope you don’t change because of it. It gives them a chance to see a patient outside of the clinical setting. I hope your rash clears fast. They are the worst. I bet other patients were wondering who you were, some kind of superstar, to have your own personal enteroge. You’re the best.
A medical entourage touring for Jenny makes perfect sense. Don't be bashful about your vlogs! I'm sure they watch because they're equally as charmed as the rest of us. Have to be honest; I was so nervous for this video, but you had a happy emergency visit! haha. There's something you don't see every day! I love how quickly you got outta there and how cheerful you sound being home. Be gone, rash. Be gone. 🪄🍏
No click bait just Jenny quietly sitting there in her Santa hat and light up necklace telling us so calmly about her rash, honestly Jenny is #GOALS the dignity and grace throughout this journey is really inspirational, lm not surprised her Doctors are following her on YT!!!
Jenny when I saw the rash it looked like a light sunburn but as the video went on it was looking more red and swollen. That reminded me of when I got fried sunbathing on a cruise to Mexico. My body ended up swelling so much I could barely put my clothes on. I feel so bad for you going through that. Now onto the funny stuff the kids eating frozen yogurt while Kyle was asking them questions. Kyle to Winnie "how's your yogurt? Is it yummy... Winnie says yes stops to answer, Kyle asks "is it delicious? Winnie stops to answer "yes it's delicious 😋", and he kept doing that a few more times lol 😆. Now onto the car ride seeing the decorated Christmas lights by the building. Kyle's excitement over the way they did it was so precious like he was a little boy seeing lights for the first time!! I totally agree with his liking of the way they did the lights. They looked like snowflakes lining around the walkway and the tree in the shape of a Christmas tree 🎄 but made out of those same snowflakes all lit up so bright was AWESOME!!! I'm so inspired by the way it looks I want to see if I can find those snowflake ❄️ lights for my house!! This was such a wonderful vlogmas!!
Jenny l am just a random stranger watching from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺 YOUR LIFE MATTERS to me, your care team, your Family, Friends and lm sure all of us here praying for you on You Tube. ❤️
So glad you are ok to be home with the Fam you know since you started the Clinical trial you look sooo good! Better than I have seen you in awhile. Prayers to you! ❤️🙏
Kyle I’m so proud of you. You are the most wonderful husband and Father. The children are doing so well that’s down to you. Jenny will be so proud of you she will be missing you too. You are so right to take it day by day it will take a while you will have sad days and happy days. Sending you love and hugs thank you so much for keeping the vlogs going. Xx❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Glad you are reassured. As a retired Emergency RN I remember that when you are having rash symptoms, a hot shower or bath will increase the rash (noticed your wet hair when showing the increased rash). Praying for you and your family, Jenny. You are loved.
Jenny so Happy your at home and that you have peace in mi d, I know City of Hope is a great Hospital my sister went there and now she is cancer free 6 years now ❤️
Your shopping cart story is so relatable. Once, on a grocery run with my mom, I noticed an embarrassing amount of soda crackers in our cart. I proceeded to remove some of the crackers saying, “Why do we need so many?” My mom comes around the corner and tells me, “That’s not our cart.” 😅 I’m glad you went to the ETC, better safe than sorry.
haha i think we all have a story like that. I once walked along with someone in the supermarket talking away about food we're going to prepare and what we needed and such,. well after a while he turned around and i saw it was not my boyfriend lol.. i guess i got so caught up in what we needed that i didn't pay attention to who i was walking to.. my (ex) boyfriend watched it happen and laughed so hard.. Of course his and my family had to hear about it as he told EVERYBODY !! Holiday greetings from Holland xxx Juliette
Whew! You had me very concerned, understandably so, as I too believe Kyle knows best when taking care of you. He’s so logical but full of love and compassion. I am blown away that your team came to the ETC to check on you. I know they treat all of their patients with the same love and concern, but you are such a special young lady it’s wonderful to see that attention first hand. And surely it warmed your heart too. Hoping your next blog finds the rash GONE.
I so look forward to your videos! You are so strong, and your positive attitude and spirit reminds me of my mom ❤ Your kids are adorable, and your relationship with Kyle is a type of love I can only hope to have one day. Thanks for sharing it all with us.. Your journey is inspirational 🥰🤍🤟🏻🫶🏻
So impressed that the team from City of Hope came to help you in the ER. They are beyond amazing. So thrilled you got to go home. Praying that the rash disappears soon. Have a wonderful weekend with your family. Hoping your Dad and your sisters family get well soon.
Praise the Lord! So glad that it all worked out with your team coming to help. I pray for Kyle and you. I pray for peace, joy, and love…no fear in Jesus name.
You are amazing, such an inspiration ❤️ I’m sorry for the fears and pains you bear. So relieved you were evaluated and treated quickly, and got back home! It is truly uplifting to hear of the caring actions of your oncology team! I’m sure their exceptional compassionate support and attention to your wellness bolsters your strength! 🥇👏 Gratitude and admiration for them, and for you!! 🙏🤗 May the cold resolve soon.
I had the same kind of rash when I went through chemo. Mine would pop up in different places, lasted between 3-4 days then the itching would go away. It is definitely getting worse. Bless you Jenny.
Hi Jenny, I feel for you guys. We’re going through the third family member with cancer, this year. My wife is on right track. Sending all the positive energy from the universe to your family.😊🇨🇦
Morning Jenny. I got worried for a moment when I read the title. I was waiting for your feed as I wake up in the morning. So glad you are ok. Amazing team you have. Pls take care of yourself and your beautiful family. Love from uk. It’s 9.30 In the morning.
I’m so glad that you had the rash checked out and that you’re ok! Praise the Lord! That is awesome that your team watched your UA-cam and called you about your cold, and were there to check your rash. Praying for you in Jesus’s Name. I love you Jenny and family, sending all my love and hugs. God bless you in Jesus’s Name. 🤗❤️🙏🏻❤️💚🎄
Wow! Your team sounds amazing! I’m so happy for you that you have such caring people looking out for you. That’s pretty much unheard of now. Everyone I talk to is complaining about healthcare and it seems to have gone downhill fast since Covid. Must be God has heard all of our prayers for you and placed you and your care in the best hands. Yay City of Hope! Thank you for being there for Jenny!
I cannot imagine no one caring about your precious life!!!! Your life matters SO MUCH and the world is much better place with you being here. Shame on that other hospital.
Thanking God for all our medical personnel this holiday season and throughout the years. I'm so glad you are getting the best of care at City of Hope. Prayers for continued healing Jenny. 🙏🙏
So happy you are back home! How cool “the team” tuned into your channel! You are a blessing to everyone sweet girl❤prayers and huge hugs from me to you!
Awe I think it’s good for the amazing care staff, doctors, et al to see how much you believe in them. Jenny my adopted sister died of cancer 2 days after Christmas (not Lung cancer) so this holiday is hard (your videos make it better). BUT WAIT- I’m not all gloom and doom. My adopted mom has been living with stage 4 Lung cancer for 8 years (she is 70) and she is a regular in clinical trials. She’s doing great!!! I’m just.. geez falling in love with you and your amazing family, wishing you happy vlogmas days as I’ll be waiting to watch them! 🫶💋🫶
Oh Jenny, I'm so grateful you are home and ok. You're an amazingly brave young woman. What an amazing team you have, it makes all the difference. God bless you sweet girl. You can beat this. 💓
It was good that you went to get checked out. It's wonderful to hear that you have a great team taking care of you that's very important. Hope the rash heals fast and your cold clears up soon. Take care have a wonderful weekend. 🤗❤️🤗❤️
It's the celebrex, it happened to me.same rash and itchy as poison ivy! It's fine Jenny cause it's the celebrex that's causing the rash am 100% sure of it.. oh your team of Doctors are watching so if they read your comments I want to thank them for taking such good care of you and helping God heal you! They are gifts from God! They are doing the lords 💪work! Thank you City Of Hope!!!
A family hospital tip. We all have basic hospital bags ready which includes basic things for couple of days plus list medications, current and past medical history, allergies and emergency contacts. I have extras coffee I like, mug, cosy blanket etc as usually me that is emergency admission but been so useful for my husband and daughter to have as well. My daughter got her now husband to do a bag and he laughed but so grateful when during height of Covid admitted with collapseed lung. It just takes stress away if curveball thrown as usually at night when least prepared.
Happy Holidays 🎄. Sorry about the allergic reaction That's scary. Thanks to City of Hope and all your family and team. Hang in there Kyle.Ot is scary to be a caretaker and so close to the patient, your wife. Lots of ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏 Love and prayers. Good Luck.
So relived the rash isn't to do with the trial! 🙌 I was on celebrex for arthritis but they took me off it for newer meds that have less long term side effects
your an absolute warrior and a dam legend i might not know you personally but i mean it when i say your a very strong inspirational person and i truly wish you and your family nothing then the absolute best, one last thing when i was sick and down feeling bad something that always helped me and it might sound selfish but i would remind my self im not alone and hundreds of thousands of people around the world are going through and have gone through the same thing im dealing with and some have it a whole lot worst! keep kicking C ass it might be a long hard fight but you will be the winner you might have a black eye or bleeding nose but you will be the winner we believe in you, so keep your head up and LETS FREAKEN GO!!!!!!!!
#cityofhope. I did mention to u before my brother was at the city of hope and the Staff is Amazing. While we were out in the waiting room we had such great people coming around checking on us to see how we were doing. My 3 sisters r nurses 1 just retired from WM. Nick Unit. The others work Kaiser Baldwin P. And they all agreed what a Beautiful staff CofH has. Your Husband and Children are Amazing support. Sending u Gentle Hugs and ✌🏼❤️🙏🏼.
Glad that you only had a short stay at the hospital.City of Hope Hospital sounds like an amazing place, with top notch Doctors and nurses etc.And your caring team definitely has your back Jenny! Hoping that your rash will calm down after another dose of Benadryl. xx
I’m so sorry you’re having this issue, I think with the cancer and new treatments sometimes it’s best to err on caution and go before things get worse. Hoping they figure out the issue and you’re feeling better quick ❤
I am so glad that your rash is nothing serious, the worst part is not knowing if it is or not. You did right in getting it checked out and how lucky your team were there to see you ( and your videos ! ) How pretty were the decorations at that retail park they certainly make you feel Christmassy. So dear Jenny drink plenty, rest plenty and have fun plenty when you feel good. We’ve had snow and a strong wind, living by the sea the white horses look terrific perfect for surfing except the temperature is only 2 degrees Brrrrrrr. Love and prayers to you all. 💕. 🙏. 🐝. xx. 🥰. 💕
Hi Jenny. What a wonderful team you have, that even watches your videos. I’m hoping you feel better soon with your rash.Sending love and prayers for healing, Jenny. 🦋⛄️🎄✝️
I don't tell people about my channel much either (I think it's embarrassing to tell people that I vlog lol I don't know why) but how fun they found the channel and wanted to check up on you! Sounds like such an amazing team, it really makes all the difference!
That is so cute your doctors watch your videos. I am so sorry about the rash. Ugh. I’m glad you got to go home quick from the er. I am glad you went though, so now you know what it is from You matter!!! You matter so much. You are an inspiration. Thank you for sharing your life beautiful Jenny!! Julieann 🤍
Oh I have salt when we react to Medication!! Impressive. Having a medical entourage come to you.! They certainly care about you❤️❤️😅 city of Hope is outstanding, and I do not blame you one bit for praising them often as you do⭐️⭐️🙏💕✅
Are all of you in counseling? It might help with the fears, stresses, etc that no one may want to burden you with. Sometimes it just helps to dump to someone not directly affected by it all.♥️
Jenny...coconut water is better when it is cold...dont know if you are drinking it at room temperature or not but the it cold. You can also put it in into.smoothies.
I'm glad you have been given piece of mind about the rash, you have a wonderful family behind you that's worth all the tea in China . God bless you and your family my thoughts and prayers 🙏 are with you all.
Celebrex is an arthritis/anti-inflammatory medication. Works very well together with stronger pain meds; however, do ask your medical team before taking anything new.
Lol.... I did that at the grocery store one time.... and I told my husband to keep up with me... turned around and looked and to my amazement it wasn't my husband... we both got a good laugh out of it especially when my husband came around the corner with the grocery cart... too funny...
After watching the entire video I’m glad your reaction wasn’t serious. You did the right thing by going to the ER. Kyle is an absolute gem for his support.

So dear Jenny drink plenty, rest plenty and have fun plenty when you feel good. We’ve had snow and a strong wind, living by the sea the white horses look terrific perfect for surfing except the temperature is only 2 degrees Brrrrrrr. Love and prayers to you all. 💕. 🙏. 🐝. xx. 🥰. 💕
I am so glad you are doing better sweetheart
I am glad you went though, so now you know what it is from

Sometimes it just helps to dump to someone not directly affected by it all.♥️
You have a blessed Medical Team!!! So wonderful!!!!! Priceless!!!!!💜💗💜💗💚💜💗
Jenny...coconut water is better when it is cold...dont know if you are drinking it at room temperature or not but the it cold. You can also put it in into.smoothies.
Its true , there's always something new with cancer
I'm glad you have been given piece of mind about the rash, you have a wonderful family behind you that's worth all the tea in China . God bless you and your family my thoughts and prayers 🙏 are with you all.
Celebrex is an arthritis/anti-inflammatory medication. Works very well together with stronger pain meds; however, do ask your medical team before taking anything new.
I’m so glad your team got to see you!!! And now they are following your channel also is pretty awesome 🎉🎉🎉 ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wish Pa doctors and hospitals were this on point and helpful and caring
Oh Jen. You never get a break. Take care and get better soon. ❤️
Lol.... I did that at the grocery store one time.... and I told my husband to keep up with me... turned around and looked and to my amazement it wasn't my husband... we both got a good laugh out of it especially when my husband came around the corner with the grocery cart... too funny...
Jenny! I hope you feel better. Sending positive thoughts and prayers 🤍🤍
Just now watching here in Maryland...
After watching the entire video I’m glad your reaction wasn’t serious. You did the right thing by going to the ER. Kyle is an absolute gem for his support.
