Can you explain why fashion week is so expensive and what the expenses go to?

since there's a lot of people traveling to the same city at the same time, prices of flights/hotels will be way more than usual

all the people travelling there is definitely part of it - everything is inflated because of that! the conversion from euros to canadian dollars is rough, and i bring 2 people from my team to help with content creation and support. so flights, hotels, food for 3 people, transportation to all the events in multiple cities throughout the month really adds up! it's all out of pocket for me
