You're doing well to be getting anywhere with this after only two months of playing. Well done mate. I've been playing nine months almost and ice just got round to trying this, I'm managing most of it and I should have it down quite soon, tho maybe not as smoothly as would be ideal. It's so satisfying learning new things on guitar and when you realise that you are managing stuff that you were really struggling with a few weeks prior, it's great. Only wish I'd started years ago.

Hey... I think you're just a tad off, Marty, At least, according to Rocksmith (which may have just overcomplicated things) you don't just barre from 3 to 5 and then up to 5 through 7, there's an extra chord where it goes from the 5 through 7 barre, hits a different chord, and then goes back in quick succession. Any idea whether that's more accurate, or just unnecessarily hard?

Thank you so much Marty for these amazing tutorials! I've learn so much in all of this quarantine
I was a G C D strummer and after 2 months I know my theory, and I can play a handful of Hendrix and John Mayer songs !
    Mad love from Darjeeling 🙌

This was the first song I learned to play completely. I was like 15 and knew a bunch of partial songs and chords for them, but not a complete song with solo.
Then I got this cool Guitar teacher; he'd come in the headband and A Grand Funk Raolroad muscle shirt. He showed me the opening riff. I'd never actually heard the song(this was around 99) before. I was blown away. I got him to write it all out, and I got the tab and practiced it for hours a day. I don't know how long it took, but I finally got it. It was weird because I could barely play fuckin Louie Louie. Even after not touching a guitar for 20years I could still remember most of it.

Forgot the best part " Thank You Marty " I love how you take the time to show which string to put my fingers on and which fret. A lot of guitar lessons on utube the teacher shows me how he plays it but doesnt show me how I can play it

Saying that makes me think hes the best even more. Pretty subjective question. Ask 100 people who best guitarist ever is, you'll get many different opinions. Jimi was a great guitarist and artist. One of the most influential musicians ever. Everyone knows who Jimi Hendrix is.
