Great review, Ive just bought a set after watching this video. I lost my receiver for my atts alarms, so needed a new one, which was between £109 - £129. I bought a complete set of these, brand new, for £135!!! No brainer!
How did you find the Att,s? I really want a silent alarm, hate the racket made by setting up, find it embarrassing, also find the sound of others really bloody annoying
Hi NIC Just started fishing aged 71so I need to learn a lot in a short time. Like most people I am doing it on a budget so need to get as good equipment as I can for very little money. I have learnt the Delkim alarms are THE alarms to buy but given what you have said I will now get one of these instead. Yes, one as at the moment handling one rod is enough for me. Great video and you now have another Sub.
Thanks. For watching! They are really good value alarms to be fair I have been very happy with them and I have used Delkims myself for many years beforehand.
HI, Congratulations for your review. How do they behave in radio power? have you had the opportunity to test the radio when you have the rods on a low bank of the river while you with the ecu are with the difference in height on the bank? Thank you
Hi, very nice and helpfull review. I'm looking for this set to buy it but still cant find any answers if this signals are going to be compatible with Mivardi swingers, model MCX88. Can you help? :) Very different answers form supplier and fishing shops..... ehh
Hi Adam they are the same fitting and polarity with the standard connections as I know folk that have standard illuminated hangers... as far as im aware the only company to do this different is delkim with the negative polarity so the wiring is different. therefore if the mivardi stuff is standard (which it should be) then it should work well
@@NICarper Yes, I think so. Mivardi is a standard, it works even with cheapest chinese signals I used before so it should works also here. Thanks for your support. Could you also say something about waterproof?
@@atypa87 not a problem at all. I haven't had a single issue with the waterproofing of these alarms and I do a heck of a lot of wonter cold and wet nights and they are still going strong
I've not been too impressed with prologic in general had the R2L and they looked great but constant battery drain and one of the alarms stopped working, but for some reason i still want to give prologic another go, thanks for the review do they come with headcovers, i'm inbetween these and Fox mini micron X
Thanks for watching buddy! These alarms are the first U.K. designed alarms Prologic have made as they are the brainchild of their U.K. product manager. I know others who had similar issues wit the r2l. No they don’t have the covers you have to buy separately I know they are a similar cost I just think feature wise these have more! I actually have a set of the original mini microns their battery life is like 4 sessions and they are done! For me the security features and changing the leds was the main things i wanted. It’s hard to know how to spend your hard earned cash these days.
Does prologice do bivvy lights to go with the alarms i have a set but as i m quite deaf i can't hear the receiver so well, The light on th receiver isn't up tp much
The light on this receiver is really bright I personally think. However the alarms that are new called c series alarms have an independent bivvy light which lights the whole bivvy up. They are only £100 for 3 plus receiver and bivvy light
Nice video! I have two questions, does it have a low battery signal? have you ever had communication problems with the control unit or interference? thank you very much from Italy
Hello thank you for the comment. Yes it has a low battery warning beep on alarms and receiver and also never any signal issues with these alarms I have tested now for well over a year and I am extremely happy with alarms
Hi buddy still going strong and have had some good outings with them. Still on original batteries too. Can’t think off hand of any negatives i actually got a second set for my stalking pod have 6 alarms tuned in to receiver. Range is spot on too
Hi Ni Carper, how are you finding these alarms after having them for while now? Is the battery life OK? Also have the been reliable for you? Thanks mate
Hi Bryan I think from memory it’s consecutive beeps I know when you get a full run it sounds like joined up beeps. Because I mostly snag fish I usually only get a few beeps anyway
If you have the switch in the middle that mutes everything as it’s a silent mode to reset bobbins. You need to use volume button to turn sound on head off and just have sound on receiver
@@NICarper ohh with the button! That makes sense idk why I didnt try that, I was just thinking as the receiver mirrors the alarms it would turn the sound off 👀😂😂😂
hello, can you give me any opinion after your experience with this alarms? I want to buy 3+1 set. Actually i hace SMX custom black. Is it worth? Greetings from Poland
Hello! I think these alarms are great. They are similar to smx but have better sensitivity. Security and more features eg mute mode. I think they are worth it yes

Does the heads give little beeps in a row with a take or a long beep like the nash r3 ?

I would also like to know what pod that is. Looks really good

How do I turn the night light on ?

Are you still using these? how is the battery life?
Still using then yes. Battery life is fantastic if you use Duracell will last around 6 months or more
