  • This is part 1 of resurrecting my dad’s old BSA A65 Lightening that’s been off the road since the late nineties.I disassembled the bike a few years ago last winter I finally got back at it. I rebuilt the wheels with new rims ,new bearings, new spokes , new shoes, new tires and new tubes last winter. I also rebuilt the forks with new bushes, fork seals, new gators, new gator clamps , and also replaced the headset bearings with SRM caged bearings. I may do a video later on my Thunderbolt when I rebuild the forks and upgrade the headset bearings. This video is basically frame clean up and the beginning of reassembly follow along like ,comment, and subscribe for future videos on this bike project.

If or when you get to rebuilding your wheels I found it was cheaper to get new wheels bearings from my local bearing shop and also a good quality bearings
