Louis Dowdeswell Music Mark Zauss is the lead soprano player. But the soloist is actually David Smith. He also did that arraignment. Mark now plays with the Main Street Philharmonic orchestra at Magic Kingdom
How do you play that all day? I mean it's not hitting the notes that amazes me, I can do that. It's playing it PERFECTLY every time up there. How is it possible to be that consistent
Now 25 years later. Pretty good sized crowd to listen . But as usual the unappreciative simpletons just passing by who can't be bothered to stop and listen.
One of the best renditions I've heard...slightly faster than the record (the way I like it) and slower than MF did it live, slightly better in tune than the MF band tended to be, they didn't do the slow down like MF did (which I didn't particularly care for) AND while marching...in the HEAT!
Disney needs to bring these guys back.
Man. These guys are blowing out double Gs and up like its nothing.
Oh...a little higher than a double G!
That’s the great thing about G bugles. They’re so good for high range.
According to g bugles, they would be double c’s 😳😳
Ah I watched it to the end...
louis!
Two of my favorite things Jazz & Marching Band
You can tell when there are drum corps people there! I always made sure to make a big deal and cheer when I saw them, so they knew I marched!
I wonder how many of the people there had any idea how freakin insane that was!!!!
my right ear really enjoyed this video
AWESOME.... saw MF 7 times live and always loved this tune. You did right with this cover.
I seem to have found the Future Corps channel....My days plans have now been altered.
3:36 "How's the testicle?!"
Gives me chills and thrills every time I watch/listen. Bravo! Thank you!
What a huge double A that soloist has, who is it?
Mark Zauss

Little did Louis dowdeswell know he would have a huge upper register
Zauss had the chops!

Mark Zauss…. Impeccable! Whose the other soprano soloist Dave? Dave Smith has chops also!
Loved seeing these guys back in the day, playing the Maynard and Chase stuff. Tomorrowland had a pretty hot group too if I recall.
Great video!!!!!
Pretty good sound....can't be easy walking around like that, too.
何回も見てしまう💃
LOVE 2:06 !! The Reaction is exactly what I would have said! Bravo Zauss and F.C.!!!
Bring back the future corps Disney!!!

Loved Future Corps, especially when they played this Maynard Ferguson tune.

I'm pretty sure that's Mark Zauss.
I would totally sign up for this after aging out of drum corps
practice practice.. just like a dci corps can give the same amazing performance over and over
camera man is getting his face peeled off! 3ft away from double A's...... lolololol
put in your right headphone
Sounds like Maynard's Superbone Meets the Badman at the very end!
Is that mark zauss ???
yep
Yes!
We don't need no Steenkin' Mellophones!
3:35 "Toasted testicle!"????
Did that guy say "extra testicle" at the end?
Pretty sure they are "G bugles."
