In my experience, the concept of 'hearing from God' has often been presented as complicated. However, you have managed to simplify it. I distinctly recall that when I got born again, I was filled with the Holy Spirit. Whenever I felt the urge to pray, I would immediately start speaking in tongues, even though I had not received any formal teaching. It felt natural, almost like a newborn allowing words to flow. After a few weeks, I began to sense 'someone' speaking to me from within. This 'someone' started teaching me not only about spiritual matters, such as the Bible, but also about ordinary subjects like biology. Given the naivety of this experience, I rushed to my pastor to seek guidance. He took the time to instruct me on how to navigate this phenomenon in accordance with biblical principles.

Great video! My favorite part was at the end when you talked about developing your Yes/No with God. The way I've done this in the past is either a red/green/yellow light. It's pretty reliable, but I also enjoyed how you said sometimes God will change His pattern of speaking to us. I have experienced that, and I believe it's so we don't put God in a box so that we can control Him. He is God, not us, and His ways and thoughts are above our ways and thoughts!

9:31 Communicating and developing a yes or no with God is Biblical. It reminds me of the Urim and Thummim described in 1 Sam. 14:37-42.
Thank you! You answered my question! Now that I’ve been praying in tongues I’m noticing that when I doze off (not completely asleep) I’m starting to see those pictures! I couldn’t tell if it was just me! So is this considered open visions or dreams?
This is a closed vision as your eyes are closed. Open is when your eyes are open.
