A little fringed bag, lined would be darling
Yes, it would! Thank you lovey! 😁❤️
I agree with a little fringe bag.
Lovely garment.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful design creations.
I would make a boho shoulderbag of the fringed leftovers. I love what you did with those scarves. I see options for my dozens and dozens of scarves. Very inspiring! Thank you.
I am so happy you find inspiration on my video, I hope you make them! Thank you lovey! 😁❤️
I so enjoyed your video. I have lots of scarves and I'm often tempted to use it in another way! 😀
I hope you have a go at it! Thank you lovely! 😁❤️
Yes a little lined cross-body bag would be an amazing accessory to these tops 😍😍😍
I did! check out my latest video! part 2 of this video! Thank you lovely! 😁❤️
Hello Luz,I love your videos. The tops that you ❤made from scarves are great. I understand what you mean when you say that you are like a child. I am the same way. I have a young personality too.
Hello lovely, thank you for your comment and yes! don't loose your inner child, it's what's happiness comes from 😁❤️
Beautiful! You have a great find. I would keep the sleeves the way you have them. More versatile. Thank you so much for sharing. 😊❤🥰
Thank you lovely! 😁❤️ I appreciate your feedback!
The scarves are gorgeous. The jumper really celebrates the colors. I think it is beautiful in its simplicity
Thank you lovely! 😁❤️ That is what I think!
Yes definitely a shoulder bag with the left over stripe bobble fabric. It will complement the top.
Thank you lovely ❤️😁
Your hair is beautiful. Up is definitely more practical when sewing and the colour looks great when twisted up
Thank you lovely! 😁❤️
Very enjoyable. And your hair is beautiful. Can’t wait to see what you do next
Thank you lovely! I appreciate that 😁❤️
Beautiful scarves with your beautiful creations are so lovely and inspiring!
Thank you lovely! 😁❤️ I really appreciate it!
Wonderful idea with beautiful scarves. I’ve the fringe sleeves!!!!
Thank you lovely! 😁❤️
You are gorgeous and your hair stunning! 🤍
Oh! thank you! I didn't expect this 🙃
You are so brave! I love watching you! you gave me few ideas!
Thank you lovely! 😁❤️ I love having you here! 😁
These are so pretty and I love how you are turning them into clothes.
Thank you lovely! 😁❤️
Your English is perfect, please don't apologise. X x x
Thank you lovely! 😁❤️ I appreciate that! 😁
The warmer coloured pink and orange scarf are stunning colours for you!
Thank you lovey!, I am always after the blues! ❤️😁
Love all you do beautiful scarves but more beautiful tops and I would trim the fringe off ❤❤❤
I appreciate this! Thank you lovey! 😁❤️
Just watched your video today. I think I'll learn a l9t from you . Thanks for sharing
Thank you lovely! 😁❤️ I am glad you find value in my videos!
I found some at Goodwill last week. One was so very beautiful. I am very allergic to wool. I even ask someone else if they thought it was wool. I had to leave them. I love the peacock blue.
That's a shame, I get cotton ones as well, maybe a good idea? Thank you lovely! 😁❤️
Make an accessory with the fringe part. Love what you have made.
Thank you lovely! 😁❤️ I think I will!
Love the "jumpers" you made Luz. I don't have any sewing skills but I would love fabric necklaces or bracelets in any of those textiles.
That is a great idea, Thank you lovely ❤️😁
You suit the pink colours more than the blue/green.
I think you might be right, but I LOVE blue! 😂😂 Thank you lovely! 😁❤️
Loving the. Pink and orange scarf. Loving the fringe ❤
Thank you lovey! 😁❤️
Yes, use the fringe on the sleeve. 😊❤
Thank you lovely, noted! 😁❤️
I really like the fringe on the sleeves, personally. I would love a video on how to make a pattern for a top. P.S. Your hair is beautiful! :)
Thank you lovely, I will try to make a video showing how to do it. 😁❤️
I would add a couple inches of the colored pompoms to the edge of the sleeves to match the hem. cut the fringe off and use it on your denim.
A great idea! Thank you lovely! 😁❤️
Maybe with the extra fabric. Finish the cut edge and wear it as a scarf with the top.
Scarf into scarf! I need to make a video out of that! Thank you lovey! 😁❤️
Want to see them on you!!! So incredibly beautiful. What a find!
Yes! I should have wore them on the video! I will on an upcoming video! thank you lovely ❤️😁
I just stumbled on this video, Awesome idea with the scarves they turned out beautifully! I have similar scarves, but being wool, polyester, or acrylic would be too hot for me to wear as tops, so I’m gonna do mine as skirts or palazzo pants😊
That is another great idea! Thank you lovely ❤️😁
Perhaps make a bag out of the first scarf remnant, fringe included!
Thank you lovely! 😁❤️, Yes! I think I will!
Beautiful! Maybe cut the fringe, finish the edge and add to the sleeves, yes.
The one with the half n half design colors are perfect on you! Maybe lightly line it so it doesn't itch you though.
Really enjoy watching your channel from Columbus Ohio USA
Thank you so much lovey! thank you for watching and giving me suggestions! 😁❤️
Cut off the fringe and hem it. Then make a band/cuff on each sleeve. I love that red and fuchsia scarf--it turned out so beautiful! I have a collection of scarves that I've been thinking of doing this with for a long time--you've given me such inspiration!
I am so glad to hear! I hope you do and you enjoy wearing them! Thank you lovey! 😁❤️
I would use that off cut as a bottom band at least. But you could just eliminate the fringe. A band at the sleeves would also be nice. I love using scarves as fabric.
Thank you lovely! 😁❤️, I am taking note of all of the suggestions! I know what you mean about scarfs as fabric, they are normally stunning!
They're all more useful without sleeves. A long sleeved shirt underneath make it versatile.
Yes, that is what I think. Thank you lovely ❤️😁
You could make the fringe removable with either a zipper or snaps. Just a thought.
Thank you lovely! 😁❤️ Another great suggestion!
If you soak the textile in a bucket of water with a splash of vinegar in it (I use schoonmaakazijn) then it will remove the bad smell. You can leave it there overnight.
Thank you lovely! 😁❤️ I will try this also! thank you!
I can recommend a product I came across for washing wool, called SOAK. You literally just soak the items for 15 minutes, no rinsing so no rubbing or friction or felting, it's wonderful for wool but I've used it for other things, too. I'm not getting commission on it! I bought a bottle the year before last, used it for all my winter jumpers plus other stuff, and still have loads left.
Thank you! wrote it down, will look for it! thanks lovely! 😁❤️
A matching bag would be cute ❤
Yes, that would be very cute, Thank you lovey! 😁❤️
You might want to see if you can get something like stay-tape for woven materials there. It is a product you iron on to a sensitive seam, like a neckline to stabilize it until it has been sewn. If you can’t get that, try a stay stitch on your machine with a longer stitch length. I do this first when I start a garment before any other material handling.
Thank you so much! I am learning so much from you all! Thank you lovey! 😁❤️
Lovely scarves! You’ve inspired me to try this! For the fringe edging: perhaps cut it lengthwise into 3 strips….. 1 each for the sleeves, and the fringe strip as the bottom hem.
Thank you lovely, great suggestion! 😁❤️
They turned into even more beautiful blouses than their original scarves! One possibility for the left-over edge could be to cut off the fringes before sewing them on the blouse to which it belonged? (but then I am a Scandinavian who shall be swathed in wool all too soon:)
I think so also!, thank you for your suggestion lovely! 😁❤️
Hi. I might add it to the bottom of the top in a certain way. Adorable finds. Thank you.
Thank you lovey! 😁❤️
👋👩🦳🇦🇺 Thanks for sharing with us all ❤❤❤
Thank you for watching lovely! 😁❤️
Sometimes if you use hair conditioner to wash wool it cuts down on the itch factor.
I am going to try this! Thank you lovey! 😁❤️
I quite like the sleeves left as they are. You could use the extra material for a purse/bag/zip up pouch? Thank you for your videos.
That is what I am leaning towards yes, thank you lovely 😁❤️
I love them finished w the bias tape. No fringe I say keep making with your personal style in mind! You have a great eye, have you thought of sourcing fabric and selling online? Could still make videos w the fabric sharing your design inspirations! Keep having fun no matter what
What a lovely suggestion!, I don't know if people would like to buy them from me, that is the only problem, but certainly a great idea! Thank you lovey! 😁❤️
I love your creativity. I would endorse another comment of making a rosette brooch with leftovers. I would also like to suggest that you consider lining the tunics to give fabric stability and to increase the warmth.
Cheers from Australia.
Thank you lovely! 😁❤️ That is also a good idea! thank you!
I use Johnson's Lavender baby shampoo to wash wool with. I have never seen such beautiful wool scarves before in my life. I would be scared also. No, we don't want to lose the child still inside each of us. Have you thought about making some kind of head covering (hats, or bands) out of the left over, beautiful fabrics (that will match the tops). I wear hats when I am having a bad hair day. A hat (or band) that matches my top would be wonderful (I would look well put together).
Another great suggestion! Thank you lovey! 😁❤️
Please do the paper cut for us to copy and try out by oneself 😊
You mean the pattern?, I simply copy one of my jumpers. Thank you lovely ❤️😁
❤ sergers are a sewists best friend. Not so keen on the fringe for the sleeves. Maybe use the fringe on the bottom to make it longer. 😊
Thank you lovely! 😁❤️ Taken notes of every suggestion!
The fringe could be a statement choker necklace.
Another great idea! Thank you lovey! 😁❤️
How about getting rid of the fringe threads or shortening the length of the fringe🤔or you could add the bit on the yoke area to give it some feature to the plain area on the chest area ?
All your makes are beautiful..they will sell no problem…maybe think the top sleeves are ok as they are?❤
That is what I am leaning to, Thank you lovey! 😁❤️
Leave it as is. No fringe
I will!, Thank you lovely ❤️😁
I think that the fringe on the sleeves would look good, but it might be annoying to have the fringe rubbing against the arms. It would feel like constantly be touched or tickled.
Yes that's my problem I will feel like there is a fly or something! 😂 thank you lovely 😁❤️
Hi there
Loved the tops
Yes to matching bags
Where was the peplums?
Hi there, I will be making bags... and I will me making something very special very soon (cheeky you! 😂) Thank you lovey! 😁❤️
PLEASE SHOW US HOW YOU HEMMED THE DELICATE FABRIC AROUND THE NECK.
I will try, Thank you lovely 😁❤️
I would like to see how you sewed the binding to that frayed neckline. Did you stabilize it first?
No I didn't, I simply use the bias tape, I will make sure I will film it next time. Thank you lovely ❤️😁
Use Fray Check liquid seam sealant...hope you are able to read.
Thank you lovely! 😁❤️ I am writing all the suggestions!
Could you make a scarf from the scarf scraps? 😂 I also recently saw a rosette made from a small square scarf - you could pin it to the top or onto a hat?
Also couldn't the top be worn either way if you made the neckline low on front and back?
Great suggestions! I like the using the top both ways idea! Thank you lovey! 😁❤️
@@luzUpcycle you're most welcome ❤
Eucalyptus oil in the wash will set it all right
Thank you lovely! 😁❤️ Oh! thank you! I will try it!

Noted! 😁
Why don't you put the fringed part at the bottom of your front and back panels.
I could, but I don't know if I like them, Thank you lovey! 😁❤️
Where are the scarves from?
I am not sure, some of them said India but not all of them. Thank you lovely! 😁❤️
Patch pocket(s) ?
Mmm... taking more notes! Thank you lovely! 😁❤️
