only this one and renegade. I bought one of this compass trailhawk and my transmission failed at 15k miles. i wish i could keep it but my warranty is gonna be over soon so i have to let it go asap
Good review, Rob. I'm considering one of these as a winter runabout vehicle as we certainly see snow and ice where I live and no doubt this would have little issue. One thing I'm curious about: the rear pillars are quite significant and, as I don't love completely relying on technology, I wonder if you noticed any visibility issues when doing shoulder checks? Thanks for any input you may have.
Thanks Patrick! I didn’t have any visibility issues but then again I drive a coupe with really small windows 😂 Especially for a small SUV I’d say the visibility is pretty good. This thing is wildly capable for a vehicle in this class! You won’t have any issues in the winter, that’s for sure!
To be honest i love the looks of this, it looks great on the outside and inside BUT if this had same manufacturer of their transmission i would NOT buy this again. my advice was check online how many of this jeep have transmission problem. and this is not even a jeep, it's a fiat 500x with jeep badge. i bought a trailhawk and in only a little over 15k miles my transmission is failing. it won't shift up. i never offroad it, just daily 12 miles commute going to work.
@@jayp.3898 i just also recieved a notice from jeep this year, they will offer a engine replacement if my engine burns oil, i remember when i did my first oil change after 3k miles i checked my dip stick, the oil is not even touching the tip of the dip stick. but luckily i traded the car cos the warranty is about to end last year.
Lol didn’t see these responses, took it in to the dealership after my battery died (from charging the laptop) got both batteries replaced and a “system update” seems to have fixed the problem!
The best compass review yet.
I have one it is awesome . Goes threw every where of course it's a small vehicle but I waste less gas . 👍
I have the spitfire orange compass trailhawk and love it! Very capable offroad, more than some think!
I have owned wranglers for the last 10 years , thinking of switching to the compass trailhawk as I am city slicker what else can you tell me?
Don’t the transmissions in Jeeps suck???

So I’ve recently purchased the 2019 Jeep Compass trailhawk and my gear selector doesn’t light up. Any one know any solutions??
SuperJewelzz Already with issues???
TopSecretVid yup
Same, it’s just a malfunction. It turns on for me sometimes

You convince me to get it. You should get a commission. Let you know how it goes!
Update?
Wait so is this a 2019 or 2020?
They are both basically the same if not exactly the same. Save money and get a used 2019.
Wow, you take a trail hawk on the road are you kidding me? Crap review bro.
Aggressive wheels aggressive front back the truck up stupid word to use about a vehicle 🤣
