Thanks for the video. That radio has a built in record and playback function. Why do you need the software? Select function - Rec/Play - Memory number - push to talk / record message - release PTT - select mem number to play back.
Hello sir if you read the comments you will realize that the Tx audio es from the receiver not your own audio and also that was one of the first ftdx101 back in the time they didn’t do that I don’t know now but all of this is to be able to to record from the air and play it back

Can you explain to me the advantages of doing all of that over just using a wave recorder? What is wrong with the internal recorder? I have a 3000 and has a record function. If I want to record a conversation of any sorts just use a wave recorder or even some other sound software. Once your rig is plugged up via USB the computer thinks its another sound source. Just record from and send to it just like they do. If one wants to know how they sound just go to SDR hear you (h u ). John sorry to answer too late I'm very busy with the livestream that i forgot about the 101 d well to mention that the 101 can't not record and retransmit the record over the air at least that was the way that i found for that many of my friend like to listened their voice over the air ,in fact my ic7300 does that with any recorder like you mentioned but the 101 does not did it that was why i did all that , thank you for the comment happy new year and good health to you and your family 73 w7hu alex
@@W7HU Wow. a long time ago. Two months. LOL. I was talking about hearing yourself as well. Try the "SDR hear u" . This way you can hear yourself directly for adjustments and testing of your radio. It is also a good site to use to test for propagation by checking to see if you can hear your own transmissions.
