"Tanz der Vampire" in Russia. After the premiere

In St. Petersburg State Theatre of Musical Comedy a premiere of the musical "Tanz der Vampire", has taken place. This is a musical version of the film "The Fearless Vampire Killers" - the first color film by Roman Polanski.
Roman Polanski made a statement yesterday, where he even expressed his happiness about that the musical for the first time in 14 years finally arrived in St. Petersburg. "Thank you all. Have a nice day", - also said in Russian language.
In 1997, after the first show in Vienna, the musical made a splash in Europe. This is one of the longest shows on a big stage.
In Russia, in St. Petersburg, the premiere took place on the 3rd of September, at the Theater of Musical Comedy. Choice for the main roles lasted about a few months. Choreographers, who were involved in staging of the European version, specially came to Russia to make the show more spectacular.
Judging by the applause and the mood of the actors after the first presentation, "TdV" will go to Russia with a real success.
