    I just wanted to take a moment and say thank you for your videos. I put up a couple of products on TpT in 2018, but am really focusing more on it this year. Your videos have been so helpful on what I should be doing with my store. Look forward to more! 😀

    Congrats!!! What a big jump from year 1 to year 2. My highest month was august with 350 and my lowest month was November with 80 and I grossed 1k for the year.I started my store in July 2020 and I have 70 products so I’m very hopeful. Love your videos !

    I love the advice about focusing on product lines. I've been trying to turn this protocol I created on teaching children how to form their own opinions (rather than just agreeing with whatever I say) into something sellable on TpT. Right now I've just been focusing on activities to help kids differentiate between facts and opinions, which is the first step in my protocol. It's nice to hear something that validates that idea and lets me know I wasn't crazy to go back through my work from when I first developed this protocol before I opened my store and make it sellable.
    I also love hearing your numbers, and it makes me hopeful for my store, Sarah's Special Scaffolds, even though it's still so new.

    Thanks again for all your fabulous info! I started my store in November 2019 and before this, I didn't even know how to make a PDF. My best months for views were Jan/Feb 2020 then Aug and Dec. Sales were Nov/Dec 2020 I sold 2 products in each of these months. To Promote My store I have been using Pinterest and my blog both of which were new this year. My TPT store had 58 products at the end of DEC 2020 and my resources are a bit eclectic as I am a homeschooler and started by uploading resources that I have made for my son and Niece/Nephews. Thanks for the advice of seasonal products because the last 3 products I sold were for Christmas and winter. No sales in January 2021 yet! Most of the sale days in 2020 I sold nothing. Only 1 product across all the sales. I have learnt a lot in 2020 and hopefully, I can make my TPT store/online business profitable in 2021. Your information has definitely helped me move forward.

      Thank you for the details, I love learning about other people’s shops! I find in the sales, people are mostly purchasing products that have been on their wishlist for a long time or bundles they’ve been wanting. This could be your year!

    Thanks for the video! This was so helpful!! My hot months are actually Q4 because that's when all of the Spanish holidays are concentrated and I really focused on making holiday products last year (year 1). I'm a Spanish teacher FYI. I moved the needle by stalking FB groups and posting my blogs/videos there. In Q4, I made about $500/month! Now, I'm on the struggle bus, lol. I'm making pennies. These months aren't too exciting in the Spanish-speaking calendar & I specialize in culture and I've been struggling with illness.

    • @BeccaDavis
      @BeccaDavis  3 роки тому +1

      That’s so exciting! In that case, I would look at more evergreen lessons that you can make that aren’t seasonal to help all year round.

      @@BeccaDavis I know! I need to invest more time in making materials that are generic, like "ser vs. estar" or "por vs. para", etc. But it is such a tough time right now. I am now trying to get back into the groove of things. Thanks again for all your content. I've been watching it a ton! LOL

    This really is helpful and so inspirational!! My highest months actually are June and July 😂😂 that’s cause my Harry Potter classroom decor sells like hot cakes! I’d be curious to know how many hours you feel you are spending and if you think that has gone up or down? Can you break it down by hourly rate and/or growth? It would be a helpful comparison for hourly workers like myself!

    • @BeccaDavis
      @BeccaDavis  3 роки тому +1

      Hi! I typically work 5-10 hours. I might get up to 15-- and did a lot of weeks in 2020-- but no more than that. There is little correlation with my income and hours. I was working 5-10 hours a week three years ago making $20 for the month, and I'm still working 5-10 hours a week but making thousands a month.

      I keep 30% of my income in savings to pay for taxes. My husband get paid strangely so between the two of us, we owe a bit. I'm starting quarterly payments this year.
