After I got to the point where you mentioned titles, I went to my TPT store and edited the names of most of my products while I listened to the rest of the video. I had too many just descriptive titles, and I went back and added in some key words. Thanks for the advice, Becca! This video was so helpful!
OMG - thank you for explaining how the keywords in the description effects searching!!I I was promoting my store and putting the first paragraph as a generic text that was the same on all of my products - I suddenly was losing a ton of views. This explained and helped my problem. THANK YOU!
I'm glad you have had success on TPT. For years other teachers have told me I should put my reviews and the such on there but after about a month of my store being open I haven't had any traffic on any of my products. Looks like it's back to pole dancing for a side gig.
#6 was the best advice I have ever received! I have great conversion rates, like on average 12%, however, low sales. Maybe I need to work on some SEO. What do you think?
If your conversions are good and sales are low, you want more traffic! So start with SEO (especially in the first 3 lines of the description and your title) and then use any traffic you have- Pinterest pins, email, social, blog, UA-cam, etc to drive people there. Thanks for sharing!
Is it normal for conversion rates to be low when you first open your shop? I’m not doing any content yet because I want to focus on creating products right now, and I’ve just opened up my shop three weeks ago. Thank you!
Hi, thank you for your tips! Just wondering, I've been hearing a lot about how important it is to have a blog or a youtube channel in order to really do well on TPT. I really dislike blogging and don't feel comfortable on camera but I really want to make this work. Would you say it is still possible to be successful without those ways to build audience? Thanks!
Hi! You can be successful without these things but they help a lot. Especially right now because the algorithm is changing and things have been very up in the air it’s been really helpful for me personally to be able to rely on my blog and UA-cam for traffic as the search has been super wonky lately. Plenty of people do a very well without these things but it may take longer and you may have to do different kinds of work. If you’re not gonna do either one I would definitely say get some sort of social media so you have some way to talk to somebody and promote your product that is off of TpT. Or you could try Pinterest.
It may be that people want it but don't need it yet. They may not be teaching that standard at the moment. I know my free downloads end up in a sea of endless things and I forget what I have!
I recently started with pinterest , ok, yesterday, and I am a bit confused as to how do I convert my personal account to a business account. is there a way to transfer already made pins from your personal board to the more professional business board?
Hello, please i want to know, Someone Re-po-rt my 20 Resources ,he claims that i s-to-le his phrase. the phrase is We love .... did he has the right we are now in dispute ..please help me with all information thank you so much
When she sang the goodbye, I was like oh that sounds good, then I remembered she’s a music teacher 😂

That first paragraph is so important to capturing attention and helping the search engine know what your product is about!

I am going to try and hit that 50 product mark! Thank you for that tip. I have around 17 now.
You’ll be there before you know it!
Very good reminders. Thanks for your service to the TPT Community! Blessings!

You should shoot for conversions around 3-6%, but when you're new, it's all weird. I''d give it a couple of months before you freak out!
Hi Becca, great tips, thanks. Is it true that selling with a low price does not help when making sales. I've heard about it before. Thanks.
Lower prices do not always equal more sales! It’s counterintuitive
Yeez.. I just noticed I am guilty of the title thing 😂😂

What would be a reason why a free product has been added to lots of wish lists but has not been downloaded by anyone? I would love to know!

Yes! It’s been a while since I did, but it will be in your settings.

Hi! You’ll have to reach out to TPT to work on that
My products is available 8 days ago but not sale yet can you tell me please why and what should i do to sale my products thank you
The best thing that you can do is give it some time (8 days is not very much time at all) and make more products to help get more eyes on your store.
@@BeccaDavis now it pas 22 days still not sale
@@mohsabir8679 that's normal, make more products that people want and look at other peoples and their descriptions and title.. Add keywords
ps, I tried to find your pinterest store, but had no luck.
