    Normally a judge spilts the difference between what the prosecutor is requesting and what the defense is, but Judge Boyd is like, “so you’re asking for 12 months, and you’re asking for 6… okay! 18 months in jail it is.” She just added them together. Cold blooded! Ha

    • @tanyachef
      @tanyachef Рік тому

      Cold blooded?!? I think not. The tats on that young woman's neck show a history of making BAD decisions. 18 months will give her the best chance at having the mental health services she is going to be getting while in custody to sink in and actually work. If not, she will be caught in the rotating door. 18 months seems like a long time but in comparison to someone's life (lets say 80 yrs old), it is a drop in the bucket. Especially if she learns from it all and changes herself for the better.

    • @connor7048

    Well, let me just let you know how, at this VERY moment, I am wiping the tears from my cheek... FROM LAUGHING! I cannot express to you ALL how hilarious Colonel Sanders, oops, sorry, I MEANT the first defendants attorney looks as he's shaking his head, trying to get out the words "... Dignity Classes ". I just CANNOT, y'all ! 🍗 😂🤣 😩 🌹

    It’s so easy for these people to get their therapist to find problems because they know what to say and do.
    Most do it in order to get drugs.
    I have a nephew who knew what to do and say so that he could be diagnosed with anxiety and ptsd.
    Yet he has neither of those mental health issues.
    This is why I don’t believe these people who claim to have these issues.

      Last time I talked to my friend that is a public defender in Brooklyn NYC she had 312 cases on her books. ALL felonies involving either murder or serious bodily harm. Even she, a bleeding heart lefty, will acknowledge that there is an "epidemic problem of young men killing other young men in NYC."
      It is bc they dont have judges like this woman.

      One thing I’ve notice is the judges and lawyers have a lot of cases on-going, life in big city is crazy.
      Since Bexar County is a fairly large county it they are probably juggling multiple cases on top of the cases being presently heard.

    It should be mandatory for every voter and politician to watch these court hearings for 40 hours before being allowed to vote or speak on behalf of voters.
    The courts give these people chance after chance to stay out of jail. They blow it off every single time. Then they end up in jail and society sees their prison tic tocs and complains that courts are too harsh on criminals and prisons are too full.
    BUILD BIGGER PRISONS.
