Wanted to thank you so much for your PDF on ‘Seven Steps to Naming Any Chord’. It’s really demystified chords for me and explained to me how the chords are constructed with all the examples it gives. Every time I’m unsure of what I’m looking at, I repeat your steps. I’m beyond grateful for that and your detailed lessons for self taught pianists like myself until I find the opportunity to work with a teacher in person. God bless you and I pray for the continued growth of your channel and enterprise
As you’ve done so much for me over the last 3 years, you explain something that I’ve been doing for years but didn’t know the theory behind it. Thanks so much!
Wow; it happens that since last week av been learning diminished chords and diminished gospel movements from one of the videos you made with Worship hangout… Thanks for this video sir. God bless you. From Kenya 🇰🇪
Great video, new subscriber! Can you talk about 6ths at some point? You touched upon it at 9:30 in this video..Those kind of Elton John/Gospel kind of runs that I often hear referred to as 6ths. What is that all about and how can I practice them. If you ever feel inspired to talk abuot this I'd love to hear your take on it. Either way God bless and thanks so much for the amazing insights you share so selflessly.
When starting a sample, can you quickly say, this is in Db, C, etc. Having to wait for you to play several chords before I can determine the key is sometimes very frustrating. Thanks. Been watching for years.
Unfortunately no. I also don’t believe a course like that would work. Runs falls under the category of improvisation; and this should not be the focus for beginners. At the intermediate’s level is where you should focus on runs and licks.

Beautiful lesson Sir 🙏🙏🙏🙏 have you got any courses on how to develop runs from beginner to advanced level?

It's Cb not B it confuses. It's a lot simple
I guess I need to start from very beginning because you are totally losing me
Yes, this is a bit advanced stuff.
The whole chord is a Dominant 7 b9, but on the right hand only is a diminish, is like a mix of Dominant 7 b9+ Diminish
Yes 🙌🏽
