I have a more potent solution. One can use kerosene for chain cleaning instead of using motul or WD40. Costs only INR20/- for nominal amount and then do chain lubing. Brush used is apt for the job.
PS: don't ever use petrol. Never. Petrol has a tendency to rust and weaken the chain. Since it's an o ring chain, petrol and diesel should be avoided. Normal quality kersone will suffice here. Thanks.

Gear oil se acha Motul hai gear oil close waali chain k liye sahi hota hai open k liye lube jyada sahi hai
