  • Vali Ambat is a very popular Konkani dish made with malabar spinach cooked in masala made up of coconut.
    Ingredients :
    * Toor Dal - 1/4 cup
    *Malabar Spinach ( vali) - 3 cups
    *onion - 1 small
    *Grated coconut - 1 cup
    *Red dry chillies - 06
    *Roasted Coriander seeds - 3 tsp
    *Tamarind paste - 1/2 tsp
    * Garlic
    *Oil
    *Turmeric powder
    *salt
