mere kuch sawal hai
1) main agar pichle series ke SGB exchange se kisi seller se kharidta hu toh kya mujhey 2.5 interest milega ya nahi ?
aur
2) agar haan toh kis amount pe interest calculate hoga ,
meri investment ki amount par ya jo tranche issue hui thi us amount par?
3) jab ye exchange se khariday hue UNITS mature hongey, tub jo maturity amount mujhey milegi uspe LTCG ya INCOME TAX lagega ki nahi ?
( kyunki main 2015 ki series ke units buy karne ki soch raha hu jo 2023 yani 3-4 saal me hi MATURE honay wali hai balisbat 8 saal)

Prateeksha Ma'am, I have a few questions. Sorry to ask many questions, but all are from a naive. Please see if there is a proper answer (asan bhasha mein). - 1) If I buy SGB in DMAT form, will I still (also) get paper certificate from RBI and able to sell it to RBIafter lock-in period?
2) Does RBI automatically redeem it after 8 years or there is any process for that for paper Bonds?
3) Does RBI sends paper bonds at the address with the bank whose netbanking we are using, or it could be purchased using any address. Does RBI also sends any soft copy (digital pdf) of those on registered email address with bank?
4) Can people with a short term NRI status purchase it and get paper Bonds in other country address?
