I will trade Joe from my z6II to a Z8, I was hoping for a little more.

24 megapixels is very sad news. This sensor should have been left on Z5 Mark 2

Why, 24 is the sweet spot for minimum noise and great DR. The few who need larger files have of choices like the Z8 and Z9. No portrait, general photography needs, sports, wildlife etc needs high pixel count. The only feature current Z6 owners might have wanted is the higher performance AF that the Expeed 7 permits. Depending on the price this will be their most successful camera.

Z52 is needed for 24 Mgp
Z63 for 33-35 Mgp
Z73 for 45 Mgp
I consider 60 Mgp and more to be an unnecessary size.
This is my humble opinion.

33mp sensor = no better noise perfomance than 45mp, can't record 8k video, 12% resolution vs 6k
SO useless...
