Out of the two, troys if you are going to use them and mbus if you are going going to leave them down, mostly because mbus doesnt interfere at all with charging handle. Also troys have great sight picture and mbus sight picture blows. On Troy's, the front just uses a regular site tool no different than iron sight rifle. Rear you can do with thumb.

Which would you recommend for an m&p sport 3? Ive heard that the mbus tend to loose their zero and that thebfront sight may fold back while firing if put too at the front? I kind of want the troys but i think theyd be more difficult to zero in, especially since you need a tool, i have 0 experience with zeroing to im intimidated by the troys, especially since i cant find a single video explaining how to zero them or how the tool works. What do you think?

I have both. The mbus pro absolutely will not fold down during firing. The detent locking mechanism is extremely tight. The mbus is much better designed in terms of size.
The Troys will have more play and wiggle when up. The locked up position has positives obviously, but one negative you may not be considering is that if bumped, there is no give and it is more likely to bend or break. My Troy rear flip up has an issue where the locking mechanism has jammed and not wanted to lock into place.
The Troy’s have a sight picture that is less obstructed. The magpul sight picture is more obstructed because the rear sight design, however the front post is much thinner which is good for accuracy imo.
The Troys are beefier almost unnecessarily. They are clearly an older design. The magpul are clearly a better designed sight because they are sleeker. The Troys unfortunately will protrude out a little bit when racking the charging handle.
Overall, both are actually fantastic, but I would go with the Magpul. I thing magpul is a better company when it comes to 2A, and your main concern if the mbus coming loose, I would say the Troys are the only thing that is loose. Just look it up, everyone complains about the Troy wiggle. Will that throw off the zero? Probably not by much at all, but the Magpul are TIGHT.
If you are going to be running these as backup irons, the answer is Magpul not even close imo. If you are intending to use these very frequently, they get closer to 50/50 and you’re really picking which sight picture you prefer.
Edit: you can use a bullet tip to zero the Troys. The front post is a pain in the ass but it will work.

However… Absolutely the M4 version not the HK style. Aiming concentric circles with a post that's not in the middle is very confusing for me. The M4 was fantastic.
