Sarah... that is how I feel when I find “anything” with a date on it .... If only they could speak and tell us about their journey through time... I know woman who take their Grandmother’s or Mother’s Receipts and frame them. I love that idea. I need to look through my Mom’s big receipt box!
Your adorable little stone pitcher is called “Ironstone Restaurant Ware Creamer”. I have a collections of them. Being 64 years old I remember going with my Mother to the little Diner next to where she worked for lunch and her cream for her coffee came in those.....oh the memories!
I am so thankful to find woman who love all the vintage items and show them. Takes me down memory lane all the time! How I miss my Mother and Father...lost them when I was in my early 40’s - both to cancer 5 months apart. Thought my world stopped 😢
You found some wonderful items.. and I so love watching you and your sisters and friend Thrift !
    God bless !

Yes!!! Love that buying vintage things can be sentimental!!! Holding someone’s once loved treasures to a new value again!!! Re giving it life and purpose again !!😍

I cherish all my vintage items, I collect old books too. Someone’s writing is beautiful. People don’t seem to appreciate old items like some of us do.

Hi Sarah, I’m English and I used to sell vintage clothes. The general rule, in my experience, is over 20 years is vintage and 100 years is antique. You find great stuff and I love your hauls and IMO they could never be too long if you showed everything to get x

I have been catching up on some of your older videos and this one was so good. I live in a retirement community, and someone was having an estate sale. I came across an old recipe box. I saw tons of people pick it up and set it down. I went over to check it out and became so emotional. Every single recipe was handwritten, some with little notations on them. There was no way it was staying there. When I went to pay for it, the lady in charge told me I could have it for a dollar because nobody would ever want it and it would most likely be dumped. All I could think about was the time and love this little recipe box held.

I've been buying old books since before it was a popular thing to do. I like to get books that I can read. It's funny how the English language has changed over time. One of my favorite authors from the early twentieth century is Harold Bell Wright. You always find the most amazing things! Love the roll of vellum. I can picture it in a beautiful old basket so easily.

Hello there 😊 love this haul. For the lamp that did not work, it can be rewired. Not sure the cost but I have a friend who knows how to do that. I found an incredibly beautiful old Bible at a thrift store once, from very early 1900s. It had hand written letters and notes in it and pictures as well, of the persons family I assume. I still regret not buying it. It was so personal and well loved by its owner, I could tell. Makes me sad thinking it could’ve belonged to an older person and they may have passed away, and someone just tossed it.
Anyway, wonderful video, I also love history and love imagining a story connected to certain items I find at thrift stores or antique stores. ❤️

I think that too, of my vintage finds. Especially when something has someone name or initials engraved, I think when that was first owned; who would ever know that 100 years on, it would come to be one of my treasures.

Great haul you got some really nice things. I love your 🍵 Tea cups & saucers. I am so happy you found the white serving peace & the serving peace. That is what they used when serving meats that were cooked with vegetables. You scored on the candle sticks. They are beautiful. They put vellum on top of pictures so the type from the previous page would not bleed onto the picture & Visage viser! Your bowels remind me of Corelle dinnerware. TYFS! Have an awesome day.😃🤗🤗🤭🤭💙
