Joey Jordan last to first in 1 lap at ThunderHill

Teen Mazda Challenge driver Joey Jordan goes from zero to hero during a Spec Miata race at Thunderhill Raceway in August. Jordan gets a world-class start, leap-frogging through a litany of other drivers before he even gets to Turn 1. A four-car melee in Turn 5A helps him advance to third. He chases down first and second place in the new portion of the track, then edges past the first-place car right at start finish.

Actually he hurt his motor in his car that he qualified on the front row and borrowed this car, he had 2 laps in it before the race and had to start last because he switched cars...

For p2 they were side by side into the corner so wouldn't the outside be off line?
