Good video . What a difference it makes . I hate having a vehicle without factory fog lights . I’ve done several installs over the years as well . And even though Law-Dawg pointed out its illegal to have more than 4 forward facing beams ,, which is the case in probably every state , I’m glad you can run them with the hi-beams on , when you live out in the country , you need it !! Ttyl
Yes, I know that I shouldn't run them when in Hi, but I wouldn't leave the brights on when a car is coming anyway so it shouldn't matter in the long run. These lights really do help A LOT with the side vision and have already let me see some woodland critters that I may have missed without them.
@@FarpointFarms, it is indeed a nice truck! It currently has under 100k miles! I bought it when it had just over 93k on it. Although the Minnesota winter salt is getting to it now. But, it hasn't rusted out yet!
You can also wire the fog lights at the relay from the headlights so they turn on and off with the headlights but the switch still determines if they turn on in general
The little ECHO is getting a lot of cheap upgrades so there will be more. Also my Wife likes these fog lights so I'll be adding a kit just like it to a 2002 Honda Civic.
very good video friend I have a question I have a Toyota Sienna 2002 the red cable I see that you connect it in a fuse in my case where I must connect the small red cable tea I will appreciate your response that you have a good day thanks
Hello Eric, I ordered this kit for my wife’s 2 door 2005 Echo, I should get it this week. Did you have to lift the car to install the lights or remove the two plastic covers? Any pulling back plastic housing to get to the two pieces? Any advice other than this video? Thanks
Did not have to lift, but it helps a little. Yes, you will have to remove a black plastic shield from under the car. It's a bunch of 10mm bolts, not to hard to remove. You'll love the fog lights!
Hi all, I just figured out I don’t believe I need the wiring kit (harness) that came with the kit my car is already partially or fully wired out for fog lights so my question is what do I need to add besides the fog lights and I’m assuming the on/off switch that came with the kit? I have heard I need to add a relay also?
Hello, do you know what part number the relay is and where I mount it? Also if I go the pre-wires route I need a on/off switch for my 2005 echo, could you recommend and switch for this car? Thank you
FYI By law you're not supposed to run your fog lights and your high beams together. That would make 6 lights running at the same time. It's against the law. Usually those fog light kits has a relay that senses your high-beam on and off and we'll switch your fog lights on and off when the high beams are on.

One question why the witch light stay on ??
No it turns off.
Dose it not low your battery??
No, it's setup to turn off with your key so it won't run the battery down.

Hey Farpoint Farms by chance do you still have those Fog Light Covers?

Yes, if your car is prewired all you'll need is the tiny black realy. These are less than $8.00 at the parts store.

Yes, this is kit does lack the wiring to make that happen, but I would never run brights when driving past an approaching car.
Luckily it's just a single bulb for both hi/low beam lmao
Edit: and yes I know it's a dual filament
Can you send the link?
Where did you buy these
I think it was off Ebay- It was a while ago and I don't remember.
