It feels so festive, stimulating. I loved the mix of lace sleeves and colorwork body to make a sweater. Fashion show is lovely and surprising. What is that gorgeous multicolor shawl you are wearing on the photos Saturday during the day ? Your "Icarus shawl" by David Van De Kamp looks fantastic ! I was not knitting Minogame as I watched this episode, I was just going on mindlessly on vanilla socks. 😁

I would love to attend such an event and can only dream of doing so. In the meantime I'm inspired to continue to learn and be creative. Many things to do and not enough time. ❤
Thanks for the wonderful overview of the VKL weekend! Yours is the best coverage of the fashion shows I've seen so far; what lovely and interesting knits! And real size models ❤️ I haven't made it to a yarn/fiber/ knitting festival yet, but meeting up with fiber friends is the best. I hope you enjoy the linen; it's one of my favorites and I'm knitting Veera's striped dress Kaisla right now in Quince & Co Sparrow. 2 caveats: 1) it doesn't stay on a ball well so a spindle is preferable (but I ignore my own advice & wind balls that fall apart 😉); 2) there is NO elastcity; choose your pattern carefully. I have a lace pullover in linen that is a favorite knit, and I can't wait to get this dress completed. Enjoy your gorgeous haul!!

Didn’t go to VKL, so I loved seeing your footage from the show. I especially loved the coverage of a couple of the runway shows. After all, what’s a Vogue show without a little Haute! Glad to have a chance to meet you the weekend before at the Boston Farm & Fiber show. Keep up the great work. Your video chats are very well done , informative and engaging.

hello fchats, thank you for this review of the vogue 2023 - remember the wonderful show in 2015 where vogue had the travel around the world buildings made by knits - they were as tall as 4 ft. that was when i learned of the amigurumi doll shop in queens by the queensboro station - where you can see all the little dolls made hung with the knitters name on each with a rest stop break with asian noodles and mini rice bowls with tea and coffee. thank you am away from nyc - elle for vogue kits scarfs

Oh no! I wish I had known! I'm in NJ. Well, there's always next time! I know I will not miss Rhinebeck this year. I never knew about Rhinebeck until it was over and I lived in New Jersey all my life (shame on me). I just need to figure out this thing about the sweaters. Who decides what the sweater design isfor the year? Or do you just knit a sweater and wear it? I just need to get out more! I'm so happy I found FiberChats! Thanks you posting this video. As fas as Rhinebeck sweater goes, you just knit whatever you want, although I rebel against that tradition and wear a Rhinebeck shawl instead 😁
