In this scene from 'Glory', a brass band can be heard performing "Wait For The Wagon" at a gathering in South Carolina. The musicians on-screen are actors, but the music was recorded by the Americus Brass Band of Long Beach, California. "Wait For The Wagon" is known for being in the band books of the 26th North Carolina Regimental Band as "Jordan Am A Hard Road Ta Trabbel / Wait For The Wagon" as well as one of the tunes included in the minstrel medley "Kazoodie Ko Whirl Overture." "Wait For The Wagon" (1851) was written by R. Bishop Buckley (1826-1867) and originally published as “an Ethiopian Song for the Piano-Forte by George P. Knauff."

This recording was performed by the Southern California based “Americus Brass Band” (as were the other recordings you have shared from “Gettysburg”)
