Which do you think is the right one for you? Matthew
For me I'd say lumity audeo also wow that's definitely alot of aids 🙀 that's quite an accomplishment
Great feedback! Thanks for sharing, Matthew
I have the Lumity Life and love the hearing aids and the rechargeable charger, great for traveling.
@@HearingTracker you're welcome 😁
@@waynekosters1814 🤔 I've always wondered does it have a built in battery bank?
Blew my mind with that number.
Hoping they add Bluetooth LE for Auracast support, any news on this topic?
Fantastic review sir. I'm a new hearing aid user and am searching for hearing aids that are particularly good at 2 things. 1. Streaming music with great bass capability while I'm out walking where there is a lot of background noise. Also #2, I need to hear my wife who is a low, soft talker. I saw you discussed the Lumity ActiveVent and wonder what your thoughts are on a Lumity L90 with ActiveVent receivers for my situation? Or if you have any other suggestions, I'd appreciate your guidance. I currently have the Oticon Real 1 miniRite R HAs, but they seem to lack in both these areas. Also what your thoughts are concerning receivers that are Balanced Armature? Thank you.
I stumbled across your videos while searching for my new hearing aids. My audiologist suggested Phonak Audeo L70 or L90. Your review has steered me to Phonak. Can your professional opinion, do you consider phonak the top hearing aid manufacturer and which other brand would you recommend if needed.
I think I probably speak for most, thank you so much for making these videos. The help is enormous and definitely appreciated.
Thanks again,
Mike
Hey Mike, thank you for your message it's lovely to know that the videos are doing the job that I hope they would! Phonak are great, yes, it does depend on your hearing loss and difficulties at the same time though. If you need any other advice shoot me up! Have a super day, Matthew
I have the lumity l90 and they’re amazing. Only issue is I wish the charging case came with their entire range and not just life aids. I have most of the Roger line up and they’re simply life changing.
Thanks for sharing Andy! Matthew
I have profound hearing loss. Are there certain hearing aids that are better for this condition? Unless it’s one on one I struggle to understand.
How do i adjust loud music in my audeo lumity hearing aids
What would be best for a jazz musician? Would they studio background?
Watching a lot of your videos, they are great. Thank you.
Just 2 questions.
1. I have otosclerose at one ear (right one). I'm now using, on trial basis, the paradise Audéo Paradise 90. I understand from your video's that the Lumity 90 has a better noise reduction with the autosense 5.0, is this a big improvement in comparison with the Paradise 80? At this moment I have a lot of troubel with understanding people in e.g. a restaurant.
2. Do the Lumity 90 speech sensor, stereo zoom and motion sensor also better focus when you use only one hearing aid like I do? Or is this only functioning with two hearing aids?
Hey Tally, great questions. I’ll keep it short. Yes get the best noise reduction that you can. There is an improvement from the 70s to the 90s and yes, all of those features are optimised when wearing two hearing aids. Good luck and stay awesome, Matthew
I am interested to learn more about the tinnitus feature. I just received my L90-R aids from the VA last week.
Hey Mark. I have a video coming out in the next couple of weeks covering it! Thanks for watching, Matthew
I have the Lumity Audeo L-RT 90, and they are the first aids I have had. I am getting used to them. I have very unequal hearing loss, with SSNHL in one ear with a reverse slope (moderate loss) plus "normal" slope; the other ear has the normal slope for decreasing hearing as the frequency increases. I am a classical musician and am trying to find very natural, well-balanced sound that allows me to hear myself singing while also wanting to judge clearly and quickly whether I am matching the other singers in volume and pitch. So far it's not close enough, which is frustrating. I hope I will be able to find the right setting. Fellow musicians said I should go with Widex, but my audiologist seemed pretty reluctant to have me try them. Why?
Asking for a friend: what are the best aids for someone with severe-to-profound hearing loss? She is in need of new aids that will bring her some much better hearing.
Matthew: Is Phonak going to release a new version of the Audeo Lumity soon? When was the last release made?
Thank you very much for your videos. They are very helpful. I just got Phonak Slim L70-R for $3595. Is this a lumity model?
Hey Andrea, yes it is. The L in L70 stands for Lumity 😊 Matthew
Thank you very much for your prompt response. I was sure that L meant - left; now I understand it. I guess I will need some adjustments since I cannot hear soft voices and I still keep asking people to repeat themselves. I also have issues with the mute button in the app. @@HearingTracker
What is your opinion of the Unitron Vivante platform? My audiologist is recommending either the Vivante level 9 or the Phonak L90-RL.
Hey Keith, I would go Phonak! Matthew
MY wife had to go to the office on 11-10 for an update to software on the H.A. could have been done over the phone, or just minor adjustments?
Hey Donald, minor adjustments can be made remotely yes, however firmware updates are needed to be done in the clinic. Matthew
I have a Phonak Compilot with which I'm able to switch from streaming my story from the phone to normal hearing with just a push of a button. The Compilot pauses the streaming when it switches to normal hearing and turns the story back on with another push of the button and at the same time cuts out the surrounding sound. I want to upgrade my aids but the Compilot does not work with modern aids. do you know of an aid that has the same functionality as I get from the Compilot?
I agree. The compilot has been wonderful. Last year I tried the now outdated Paradise hearing aids. I got absolutely browned off with messing about with the numerous phone settings available, so I returned them. Super overkill if you ask me. My Bolero in the ear aids together with the compilot have served me well for almost five years. I’m now due to try the latest Lumity Life aids. I won’t hold my breath. If I had a choice I’d prefer to use a compilot to control them and the TV link.
Lumity 90 ❤️
still adjusting and also trying the remote mode trial period
