A magical old song well rendered by Sean and the lads.
the best version of this beautiful ballad .by sean cannon and the dubiners ..pure magic ..
Glad you liked it.
Sean Cannon....what a beautiful, beautiful voice and style of singing. I love it!!!
Without a doubt a fine voice to take up the mantel of Luke Kelly. Having met Sean at Bromyard Folk Festive "way back when" I always thought he was the ideal choice.
Im glad he's still with us, the nore of his amazing voice he shares with us, the better
Nach so vielen Jahren immer noch fantastisch. Sean Cannon hat eine tolle Stimme. Ich liebe irische Pubsongs. Dieses Lied weckt in mir viele Emotionen. 😍
By far my favourite song since always. Every time I hear it, I have goosebumps... Love from Italy ❤
What a beautiful voice
Sean Puts his heart and soul into this song 🙏
This is an incredible piece of music ... in German: WAHNSINN!
A beautiful singer and a beautiful song, luv it
Wow never seen him so young with red hair still. I appreciate this group much.
He sounds lovely singing, unusual but wonderful.
GREAT SONG .AND NO ONE CAN SING IT LIKE SEAN GANNON
Sean voice always blew me away kinda unusual, but you will never forget it.
How wonderful is your voice sean
Top knotch performance . Contains everything from expression to tone and feeling .
Es tut immer, immer wieder so gut. So viele Jahre. Vielen, vielen Dank.
Absolutely beautiful
Thanks for the dubliners wonderful music
I've always liked this version of the song. Grandpa would always hum the tune, but didn't know the words; said that his father knew some of the lyrics, and he'd hum/sing it from time to time.
I like the Dubliner!🤗❤️💋my love ❤️❤️❤️❤️le Songs 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 all of then
Sean ,one of the greats,
Beautiful
Beautiful ! ⚘
Sean has an incredible high tenor voice -almost unique in folk music
Almost? Who else?
@@marinawatts8856 Jim McCann?
@@michaelmas9238 art Garfunkle?
@@lagatita1623 Of course, but Artie left the folk world very early.
@@michaelmas9238 what's he been doing the last 50 years😄?
It's him singing but some forgotten druid is tuning his heart.
Long live to Celtic music.
It's an English song.
@@hetrodoxlysonov-wh9oofrom Northumberland originally I think
@@maryholden3136 Yes.
Wonderful
He was. A unique voice. Very special.🇦🇺❤️🇮🇪
I always believed Sean Cannon was one of the most beautiful singers The Dubliners ever had.
Totally agree, fantastic pure voice
Had the pleasure of Sean's company at a Bromyard Folk Festival way back in the nineteen seventies. He was a single artist in those days; when he took over from Luke Kelly as "in front" singer for the Dubliners I thought it no one could have took Luke's place better.
So true mate
Bravo!❤
It's rather funny, that in my recent old age as an Australian I have discovered the Dubliners, & Irish music, having over 70% Irish, 25% Scottish & a dash of Welsh in my blood having a name like Gallagher & cousins named Kelly.
It's never too late☺️
I noted Steve's comment with interest. It's not even half as funny when you consider I have nothing in common with Steve save for age (70's). As an Indonesian (pure Javanese if you insist on Ethnology), I started to learn playing guitar in my early 60's, and now tackling DADGAD. I have performed a few times in local festival. And what do they call me? " Plastic Paddy", a name I take as a term of endearment! (BTW I came to Australia in late 1965 and haven't left yet!)
I love as Dutchman Irisch songs. Nice melodisch.

I was going to tell you it's a Scots song. However, I just checked and found that actually it's English. However, it is a bonny tune, and he sings it beautifully. I usually prefer his versions of any songs he sings to any others.
That accent is thick enough to run through a meat grinder..I love it.
Hope Yees like it I be home this morning please god
Listen to Sean Cannon singing Cull Cais Fantastic!!
Cill Cais! He sings it like no other!
Should say Cill Cais!! Typo.
Do you hear Ronnie .?
Luke sadly missed
