Band-Maid has never been on hiatus. While they didn't tour for about 2.5 years due to COVID, they continued creating and releasing new music, as well as performing several online concerts. They also released an EP around the time they began touring again in 2022 (Unleash). Hiatus implies ending or suspending all band activities, which definitely did not happen. Also, it's generally believed (although to my knowledge this is unconfirmed) that Misa was born in 1992 (some sources say 1993, but I find this unlikely because she was in music school with Akane, who is believed to havebeen born in 1990).

I think you misspoke, one of the most prominent rock bassists in Japan? Sorry, one of the most prominent rock bassists in the world (imo, she is the most prominent rock bassist, period).
She’s certainly one of the greatest, but not one of the most prominent in the world. Alas, most rock fans in the U.S. have never even heard of her, or of Band-Maid.
Actually Misa was born in 1992, and the band has NEVER been on hiatus, they were working hard during the "World Hiatus of Covid". It won't matter WHO you feature next if the content is faulty.

@@michaelhill4353her year of birth has never been confirmed to my knowledge. Some sources claim 1992, some claim 1993. Considering that she was in music school with Akane, believed to have been born in 1990, 1992 seems to be more likely. She was also in Prototype for several years before Band-Maid, so she couldn't have been too young considering that they were actively playing gigs during that time. Yes, Saiki is the youngest (assuming she was born in 1994) regardless of which year MISA was born.
