This game reminds me of Antaeus Rising. Great classic!

I think I'm gonna start using Albatross/Manta gunruns instead of missiles only. Last time I tried it was way back after release and they almost always used to fail on the approach without firing a single shot. Now it seems to work gloriously well.

I've almost never used guns on my aircraft, but It looks very effective. I think I'll give that a try. Btw, I'm not sure if you're aware of how the barge system works now. They will only drop off to your Carrier. They won't drop off to any island anymore. I just leave them by the island then only tell them what to do when I'm placing an order.

You mention Autopilot and I was just searching the Steam Workshop to see if an autopilot exists...

I wish, all I want is a carrier autopilot mod!

@@Atova you want to add some insult to injury (and this shows how old I am) - the original I played on Atari ST HAD autopilot for the carrier! [I just found an original manual online to confirm] - you would set the waypoint and engine speed for a destination [several waypoints] and then hit a "go" button

@@mightydrew1970 I remember it well, CC1 was one of the first games I ever played on a Commodore 64! Good ol days =D

@@mightydrew1970 I just noticed a few days ago that a modern port of CC1 is in the Steam store now for ten quid (US). Think it is based off the DOS version.
