This is a compilation of episodes with my friends Caleb and Matt on our crazy winter trip that got a bit sideways! Hope you enjoy during these hot summer days...
Ahhh I see you actually live in Utah I believe it was. I'm new 2 the channel only saw 1 other Episode. It showed a Tn tag on the back of a vehicle. I guess maybe you had just moved out west at that time.
Wow, a real feature film. Thanks Kev - great jojb! Really appreciate your acknowledgement about chewing in mud ruts not exactly a good idea. Very responsibly overlanding!!
Great footage all video. Thanks for taking the time to get the drone shots, multiple angles, walking up and down hills to get the coverage, etc. I know it takes a while but we love it.
As a general rule when mud or snow is at the level of your wheel hubs, it’s time to seriously assess your situation. Especially when you can’t see what’s under the snow under your vehicle.
my cholesterol shot up 30 points by just looking at that breakfast (57:40) LOL. been subscribed for a bit but first comment . wow LOL. great rest of the vlog ( episode)
cutting poly flo tubing --- i use a good pair of side cutters also known as " dikes " scissors --- are definitely the wrong tool. kinda dangerous using scissors. don't do it. What i recommend --- over 40 years in the trade. in order of ease of use 1) Snap-on tools dikes / side cutters. Best - never a problem & fast. 2) utility knife. 3) Razor blade 4) Pvc pipe cutters. will work very well too.
Getting more acceleration, cleaning out the tires could possibly increase delivery and traction on the 4Runners. What are your thoughts on a Magnuson supercharger?
Geat comparison. Guys when it come down to bed aicbe you folks have access to all 3 trucks do a tissue paper fitting test to put biggest bed war to end.
Man I can't wait to get out on the trail. My engine that I've been waiting on for 5 months is being delivered Tuesday! I've been stuck in the city for 8 months total coz I had to save for 3 to buy it. I love watching your video's coz it gets me by😅
I've had to hike through patches where you come out with 10 pounds of mud on each boot, rough going that will wear you out quick. I have a neighbor a couple streets over that has a Sprinter van 4x4 with all the gear and a Starlink mobile antenna (fixed position) on his roof(can be used while moving), pretty cool setup.
Been running factory skids since day one on the 4Runner. We've replaced a few for free from others who upgraded and were getting rid of the factory units 🤣.
@@LifestyleOverlandI used factory for awhile until I got a branch stuck up under there hitting the oil pans almost punching a hole in them on different occasions.
Since we usually have one of us driving and the other available for spotting it keeps us off the bad stuff. Definitely looking at an upgrade as Silver becomes more of a solo rig.
So many people blinded with the name Toyota, almost all vehicles engine are good now, Toyota started the 5S, and some stupid American copy it. It means not to waste things, but it means uses the cheap parts
It can be under the wrong conditions. In this case the road was slick enough to allow the tires to spin easily. The weight and momentum were doing the work. We couldn't turn around anyhow.
Watch so many videos, 4Runner always lose, Toyota retail value is the only thing about it. Ford Intelligent 4WD: Intelligent 4WD is designed with the adventurer in mind. It behaves similarly to the Intelligent AWD system but is optimized for more rugged terrain. It works hard to detect and counter wheel slip on off-road surfaces like rocks, mud, grass, or snow.

Woot an unexpected weekend bonus. Just when I was about to start binging more of the old L/O videos. =)
The mud terrains earned it on this trip!

100% Never going back to ATs
This video captures the wanderlust that resides in every adventurer's heart. Overlanding and offroading converge in a thrilling visual experience.
I think it's time to chain up for mud and snow. Great adventure and keep on trucking!!!
Enjoyed the adventure! Fun times.
Great video. Enjoyed all the shots. Good work.

And thanks for picking up the garbage!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! 🙌
Hello from Kazakhstan!

Glad you enjoyed it! We just sent a package to your country from an overlandprovison.com order. Not sure if it was you but if it was... thanks!

So many overland tubers, yours is just right for my style. Love the long form videos of epic trips. Working on my 4Runner to do trips like these.

@@LifestyleOverlandI love all the patches you have across the top of the inside the ceiling
The ticket to pound town patch 😂😂😂😂 classic! Love it.
😁
Great video, very entertaining. I was not planning on staying up an extra 1 hour and 22 minutes tonigjt, but thoroughly enjoyed it!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Really enjoyed this video! I can’t wait for winter camping again. This Arizona heat is getting to me!
capturing this takes real skills and effort. Credit to the camera guy ;)

Damn, that was fun to watch. Silver actually sounds pretty cool. Are all 3 Rigs fully locked?
Only the Bronco and Silver were fully locked.

Just ordered a flat conversion kit from our Starlink!
I'm pretty sure I know what your decision on that exhaust setup will be. It sounds like lawn mower. 🤣
👍👌👌👌from INDIA
Those 4Rs are begging for a Supercharger.
Amazing video man...found your channel a month ago.... Big fan from canada 🇨🇦
Welcome aboard!
Hello, I am a new follower. I could suggest that you put subtitles in multiple languages, and that way you would have more subscribers. greetings 😊👌🏻
Would the hp n tor of the gx help in deep snow conditions??
☺️💕
You can tell how underpowered all the cars are ☝️🤔
Oh do tell
My full time 4x4 4Runner would’ve torn that up hill
I’m curious why you don’t use OnX maps?
Why don’t you guys carry snow chains?
So what would a set of chains have done?
Probably not much good. We need floatation at these depths and you can't air down very much with chains. More than likely it would have been worse.
Here in Montana, where we deal with deep snow all the time, chains are very common.
So how does he feel about his purchase now? 😂 is it still runnin? I watched the whole dang thing from start to finish
I've been very happy with the Bronco and she's running great!
That shot of the undercarriage, didn’t see any skid plates covering the transmission, thought you had full skid plates underneath??

What issues are you having with Gaia?
Where can I find these cabins/ mines??
We have that info available to supporters on Patreon. If you sign up, shoot me a message on there and I'll get it hand delivered to ya.
Do you think that driving on "pizza cutters" would have helped in the snow/mud?
In that particular mud, yes. In that snow, no because it was just too deep.
I hate Garmin products w/ a passion. The software has always been an issue on anything garmin for me. They won't acknowledge it either.
Tubing cutter is key…
Absolutely, I learned the hard way 🤣
Car 2, 3 seems to have more suitable tyres or their skills were better
Which ones are you referring to?
A charcuterie board and a handle of Whisky.......Merica!! MAGA 24!

Recovering in reverse is very bad on your vehicle

Bronco too heavy. 60k useless
Dis ypu really left your woman behind with 1 kid and a newborn ? :(((
Is that a problem?
Way too much of commercial 👎
