Great video Joe, very informative. I have 6 throttle bodies on my car that I am looking to bush as they have play on the shafts. The piloted reamers are the trick to getting this job done properly.
Joe, thanks for posting these videos. You know more about these carbs than I ever will. I have learned something from all three you have posted so far.
That was great info..I have the downdraft wip zeniths on my sunbeam that need rebuilding and new bushings and never considered some of those things you mentioned on air leaks... Thanks so much for the great info and time you take to educate us... would you have the shafts and bushings used in my carbs?. Cheers and happy Motoring.
Gracias.
Nice Video Joe, maybe you can help me out. I have a Jag S-type 66, with 2 SU HD.6 Carbs. In the middle sits an auxilary starting Carburetter, Afther renewing them and put in some new parts, the gasoline keeps poring out off the starting carburetter and it seems that the carburetter it is connected with does not shut. Any Ideas what might be the problem? I follewed all the instructions from the book. Greetings Arie Zwolle/holland
Joe, Thanks for taking the time to put this video together. You are helping to keep the old British cars on the road. Very much appreciated.
I've been doing business with Joe for my XKE's HD8s for years, many years. He's just great to do business with, thank you.

Great video. Confirms a lot of what I was thinking of doing for my Weber 3 barrel carbs... Thanks for posting.
Your a great teacher! Thanks Joe.
A really helpful video, clearly explained. Thanks!
Awesome video! Thanks for taking the time to make it.
Outstanding video and presentation.
Very good info and well explained, cheers Joe

Great video !!!
Are you familial with any steel throttle shafts on HD8s used in early E types? I have three of them and have read somewhere they were briefly used.
what I learned is that I know nothing about SU carbs and I better let you do it !
Z therapy uses roller bearings as bushings on the throttle shaft. Any truth to that and any thoughts on Z Therapys carbs?
Do you have web page for your parts please
How do I buy the reamers
