Love your Videos Jimmy! Your Videos are really high quality especially for such a small Channel and i can really relate how you got into Street Photography. I started watching a lot of Street photography Videos in lockdown too and im looking to get an a6400 + Tamron 17-70 now to get my photography started. Keep up the good work!
Really loved this video and just subscribed i have bought a 2nd hand sony a6000 would this lens be good for this camera and would you recommend it ? Thanks in advance 😊
Would you be able to share what focus mode you use on your a6500? I have continuous autofocus setup on the ael button, and then hit the shutter button.
for photos i use AF-S mostly (AF-C is also good), not sure about the AEL button, what does it do? I just use the shutter button half press to focus, full press to take the shot
@@JimmyShixin Ahh thanks man! And the AEL button I programmed to basically do what the half press on the shutter does, and then only use the shutter button to capture.
Just bought it few hours ago, i can't wait to travel with this lens.
The architecture in Cambridge is absolutely amazing!
And the organ playing was the perfect soundtrack!
agreed - never really appreciated the architecture while i was there as a student which is why I keep going back now for photos!
Loved the video Jimmy and it was amazing to have met you on the Optical Walk! #TheBeacon hahaha
cheers man and loove the profile photo, youll like my upcoming vid on comic con ;)

thanks a lot Jakob! having a lot of fun w doing these :)
I miss Cambridge so much =)). Appriciate your work man
Loved your POV mate. I had no idea there is a 17-70mm 2.8 from Tamron. I have the 28-75mm one and sometimes I needed it to be a little extra wide…
thanks man! there is but it's for APSC - if you used it for a full frame it would be ~25-105mm equivalent
Nice POV and shots. I spent a day in Cambridge a few years ago on a visit to the UK. Reminds me of many of the places we saw. Thanks 👏👍
thank you!
I want to go back to Cambridge now, I used to live there for 5 years before I moved out of Europe
do it! perfect location to visit UK apart from Ldn in my opinion
The pictures look amazing on the tamron, which presets did you use for your pictures in the video?
Thanks! I edit everything now with my own presets which you can find on my website
Amanzing !! I just bought a Sony a6500. I hope to capture cool photos like you
awesome! enjoy the camera man!

hey! yes absolutely would recommend, the tamron 17-70 is a great all rounder lens and perfect for a travel set up for your a6000!
@@JimmyShixin thanks for your reply it's going on my wish list 👍
nice work bro!
thanks man!
amazing! what's that gopro of the pov? hero 9?
its the hero 8 black :)
Great video mate! I love the edits, what presets inspired you?
cheers Dan! for this vid I mainly used Opticalwander's and Mike Chudley's presets :)

So good. What focus mode are you typically using?
thanks Tom! i just use the standard "wide" mode
when that fails and I want to focus on a specifoc area I also use the tap to focus thing
Do you use any kind of filters for your tamron?
sometimes a tide optics cinesoft filter for dreamy nighttime shots and for video a variable ND filter from GOBE
Just subbed currently using a6400
ty to a fellow member of the #apscgang
Is 17-70 wide?
Is it a good do it all lens?
17mm is the widest it can go - this is a 25mm equivalent on full frame, not quite wide enough for my taste which is why I got a samyang 12mm AF
♥️♥️♥️
Nice talking in video otherwise we could have got bored if it was just pov and music😄
ohhh interesting! i recently tried the other format (just music) to see what ppl prefer so this is good to know :) thanks!
i just agree myself with sigma 18-50 2.8 ..........
