Comodo is a mediocre antivirus and always has been. It is not bad but it isnt good either. However, the free firewall is powerfull and it is one off the best firewalls on the market. For most average users Windows firewall is enough because every PC user have also a ruter hardwer firewall so you dont need any other software firewall then windows firewall. Windows firewall stealth port very good, just like any other than you can get, and also use less resource usage then comercial ones. Comodo firewall is better then Windows one because it has default deny hips capabilities and is excellent because off that, so Comodo firewall has a lot of settings and is more for experienced users. I was surprised that you didn't mention the one that come with Windows? I just watched your other video about Microsoft Defender. Granted it's only good for PCs with Windows but it should be mentioned for those who only have a PC...
I'm looking to get away from Microsoft Defender because it constantly scans folders from my exclusion list, many time not allowing the option to "allow threat"...extremely annoying.
I'm watching this to find a replacement for Avast, It's been fairly good - but I've gotten annoyed by the constant popups trying to up sell me on their other offerings, like a driver updater for example. The final straw was it just blocked a site I know is fine.
Also be careful with their auto-renewal. They charge you the highest price. What I do is wait for my annual email to say that renewal is coming up - ridiculous price, was $180 this year. I turn auto-renewal off at that point. And like clockwork (it may take a little while - but always before your licence runs out), they start offering you discount prices. Got it for $100 this time. Note - this was for Norton 360 Deluxe III.
I am a Kaspersky user for the past 3+ years and I am really happy with it. One can go for Kaspersky Premium but in USA they blame the company for Data leaks or gathering User's Data.
Same. Have been using Kaspersky for over a decade. Surprised it's not on this list because it is really good. However, being in the US, there's probably some conflicts of interest going on.
I'm sure the people who make Kaspersky are good people, but they live in a country where the government can show up and tell you that they're going to use your software to spy on people, and they don't ask you for your opinion. I tend to believe the reports from the DoD (but, really, how would we know for sure?).

Hi, almost every antivirus has the option to switch to some sort of non pop up mode to not interfare to your gaming. From my experiance, Kaspersky free and Avast free are best for gamers. When you start gaming, they silently switch to a non pop up mode and let you use your computer rsources for gaming. I say this for experience, because I used Avast free in past, and it is a lightweight antivirus providing powerfull protection. At the moment I use Kaspersky free and it is very light AV providing the best protection on the market. When I am gaming, Kaspersky swith to non pop up mode which does not interfare with my gaming, but it is silently garding you in the background.

I decided to go with TotalAV so I used the link in this video, and it triggered a fraud alert on my debit card when I made my purchase. Is that normal?
Total av is a scam don't use it.
what about Avast ?
Can you do a review on Comodo? I want to know if it's a good antivirus software or not.
I've heard some things about it, but I will take my time to review in much more in-depth! Thank you for the idea for a future video... 👀
For an average user Comodo firewall can be a little to intimidating.
How about Malwarebytes?
No ❤ for AVG? 😕
kaspersky is the best and lightest
Kapersky???
Kaspersky recently notified me of their end of service around the September/October time frame (2024). Did they notify you too?
What happened to Kaspersky ?
They ignor it. Kaspersky is best
he is an american they hate russia they hate kaspersky...american gays as always
Kaspersky is a beast tbh, but some people prefer to avoid it because it's a russian product..

What do you recommend for a gamer on pc?
Norton for gamers is good in my opinion
Kaspersky Game Mode
Is the security programs you buy from office depot just as good as the online version, like Mcafee?
Thanks this was incredibly helpful
Norton makes you pay for extra things that you would like to run
Please add ZoneAlarm in your next review?
I have an hp I bought in high school around 7 years and just started using it again. Is it worth installing an antivirus and keep running with it or just get something newer?
I was surprised that you didn't mention the one that come with Windows? I just watched your other video about Microsoft Defender. Granted it's only good for PCs with Windows but it should be mentioned for those who only have a PC...
I'm looking to get away from Microsoft Defender because it constantly scans folders from my exclusion list, many time not allowing the option to "allow threat"...extremely annoying.
No that trash is overrated. I am a developer i was working on web APIi it says it's a virus while i was using all security ports and protocols.
What about Avast Anitivirus?
I'm watching this to find a replacement for Avast, It's been fairly good - but I've gotten annoyed by the constant popups trying to up sell me on their other offerings, like a driver updater for example. The final straw was it just blocked a site I know is fine.
avast almost fucked up my computer lmao
Used to be good, but now it is bad
For free PC AV better stay with defender and malwarebytes
Competition breeds improvement. Hopefully Disney will get some competition soon because they need to improve or shut down.
Norton 360 Standard costs $80 AUD in Australia, that's with a $25 discount. 🤬
Note - this was for Norton 360 Deluxe III.
iv have used Avast for the last 4 years and has serve me well.
I've been using it for 8 years but it's a Russian company so I'm migrated to the next best option.
@@TarikVann What did you switch too ? looking for one also located in the US

I'm sure the people who make Kaspersky are good people, but they live in a country where the government can show up and tell you that they're going to use your software to spy on people, and they don't ask you for your opinion. I tend to believe the reports from the DoD (but, really, how would we know for sure?).

A solid choice indeed!
@@cybernews Absolutely, I use the Premium version to protect my families devices, updates and checks can be done remotely.
Never Bitdefender, it has good protection but it is heavy on system resources, on mine and every system I tried it, all modern 8 GB pcs. can you make a Top 5 Best antivirus for gaming PC 2023 pls ? (:
That's a topic I will be covering for sure! Stay tuned 👀
