They should let you know what is going to happen and they should let you have the choice.
They should not hide a tick box in a small corner out of the way where you cannot see it before you buy,
and not only that, when they do charge you next year, it's at an inflated price.

As a beginner, this was helpful to me. However, it would’ve been more beneficial if you would have covered the same topics among each antivirus program. For instance, you did so, with how many of your 10 files were detected and the prices. It would have been nice to know about their protection against the dark web for instance, which came up with one or two, but not all. Or at least not clearly enough for me as a beginning. McAfee is not an honourable company, as far as I'm concerned. Or maybe its employees are of questionable integrity? Renewing your subscription without asking or informing you in advance.? That's a no-no! And doing so one month+ earlier than the end of your subscription. All this is illegal, or at the very least immoral and unprofessional, not so? Should anyone trust them? Make sure that you let them know exactly what you want and expect them to comply before you sign up with McAfee. Is it greed or straight up exploiting their customers. Bah! I do not think that McAfee is worthy of my, or anyone's trust. Yet, your choice.

My Norton subscription is almost ending, but I'm getting sick off all the pop-ups (which supposedly can be turned off, but doesn't work) and the aggressive sales offers are they keep showing in the application and pop-ups is a reason not to go for Norton again. My friend you missed certainly the number one Antivirus product which is Kaspersky. I tested a lot off AV products multiple times and Kaspersky always come at top. Mainly because of the system watcher component which ransomwhere cant bypass because it rolls back any malicious actions caused by them. Also Kaspersky have best system remediation after malware attack. In most case it can clean malware infected systems to the point of being usable again(it is called advanced desinfection). And please, dont promote newly introduced vendors like Surfshark antivirus or Total AV. These are antiviruses which not long ago began to be tested from the independent labs and they are not the one the users should use at the moment. Why use them or pay for Total Av or Surfshark when you have Kaspersky, Avast, Eset or Avira. They are all far better then Total AV or Surfshark because they are founded 25-30 years ago and have protective technologies that this new Antiviruses doesnt have. Perhaps they will have good protection in the future, but now is an absolute pass for any user.

Comodo is a mediocre antivirus and always has been. It is not bad but it isnt good either. However, the free firewall is powerfull and it is one off the best firewalls on the market. For most average users Windows firewall is enough because every PC user have also a ruter hardwer firewall so you dont need any other software firewall then windows firewall. Windows firewall stealth port very good, just like any other than you can get, and also use less resource usage then comercial ones. Comodo firewall is better then Windows one because it has default deny hips capabilities and is excellent because off that, so Comodo firewall has a lot of settings and is more for experienced users. For an average user Comodo firewall can be a little to intimidating.

Hi, almost every antivirus has the option to switch to some sort of non pop up mode to not interfare to your gaming. From my experiance, Kaspersky free and Avast free are best for gamers. When you start gaming, they silently switch to a non pop up mode and let you use your computer rsources for gaming. I say this for experience, because I used Avast free in past, and it is a lightweight antivirus providing powerfull protection. At the moment I use Kaspersky free and it is very light AV providing the best protection on the market. When I am gaming, Kaspersky swith to non pop up mode which does not interfare with my gaming, but it is silently garding you in the background.
