I have to be honest . I really didn’t have high expectations from this episode. I went into this episode semi judgmental. I learned Sooooooooo much. I learned a lot about myself and my own sexuality and preferences. The guest on this episode was incredible!!!! Conversations like this are much needed. Thank you so much for this episode.
Definitely felt this. One thing I’ve noticed since my transitioning from fem to masc is people emphasizing “miss” or “ma’am” when talking to me knowing I look like a whole man. It’s hella annoying. I never correct them tho because I know they do it condescendingly. It’s obvious they’re homophobic. It hurts still. Can’t wait for a more understanding world.
I know a lot of people that would really benefit from this episode. I even learned some shit. Very informational. & I love a person that can teach with patience and grace.
Loved this conversation! and love Kamil, glad y’all had them on the pod :) something I wanted to add to the conversation about top surgery is that Kamil mentioned top surgery and other gender affirming surgeries (ie bottom surgery, facial feminization surgeries, etc) have a much lower rate of regret than breast augmentation etc… I wanted to offer that breast augmentation is also a form of gender affirming care. we don’t think of it or bbls that way but it is a way for people to feel more aligned with their gender. just thought I’d add that :)
I'm really enjoying all of the podcasts! For the past few months, your channel has been a safe space for me to continue to become myself and I'm definitely a subscriber. Thank you for creating this! I absolutely Loved this episode. I discovered Kamil on Instagram (deleted my account) and was instantly intrigued by them. They are truly inspiring, courageous and intelligently Divine! I totally Love how they share from their life experience and also their research. It takes a balance of both. They always express themselves from a high place of maturity as well. I highly value that. This channel is the perfect place for these types of convos and you all are doing an absolutely amazing job with presenting a vast array of perspectives through your guests. Keep doing it' we're watching! Thank you again.
When they said it took me how many years to figure out who I was and be comfortable with it but others are supposed to get it in one day.. that’s beautiful right there
I enjoyed this episode for sure!!! I do disagree about the trans in sports. There is a difference biologically. More muscle mass equates to the ability to have more strength.
Been a supporter of them💚since 2018. Been contemplating top surgery for about a year, the most frightening part is going for PSYC and allowing someone else to approve are deny what you really feel🏳️⚧️
Come thru wit the educational tv👏👏😂 See I thought I was straight when I got here.. straight but had a few experiences lmao but I find attraction in every gender so I'm a little confused about me lol but I feel like I learned alot today😂
Such an informative video. It helped me understand trans people better but I disagree with her statement regarding sports. There is a clear distinction between men and women otherwise there wouldn’t be divisions. That wasn’t a good argument in my opinion. You don’t need research to know this. But great episode nonetheless.
I was recently informed by a trans person that someone (no matter what they identity as) who is attracted to a trans man or trans woman is called trans-attracted.
But shoulder strength does help swimmers, and males are more likely to have shoulder strength advantage. No hate, just in that particular sport especially. Caster Semenya is South African. And we as a country were behind her all the way.
Im in full support of people being who they want to be. However There's an entire detransitioning movement that's not talked about. People don't talk about all of the health complications and increased rates of suicide. Please do your research.
I’m a start by saying I rock with the show. But I can’t be the only one watching 2 very blunt transparent ppl, tiptoe around their thoughts for fear of being shamed or called whatever-phobic fits the situation. That ain’t cool, Exel wanted to push back but just said fuck it moving on. Things dont have to directly impact you for those things to matter. If Leah Thomas won that race against your daughter or niece you’d care, just being real. But again I rock with y’all frfr.
I love how patient, kind & informative they were with y’all 🥰
Nah For real I really appreciate Kamil for that!

Caster Semenya is South African. She is a biological female, who identifies as such. She also identifies as a gay woman is married to a woman.
