Kerr doesn't stand a chance against Jakob at his best. He has beaten Jakob 2 times in his life; At Worlds when Jakob was sick and ran with a fever and at the season opening when Jakob returned from an injury.
I don’t believe any of the others have ran under 3:28 ever & certainly not this year, in fact that race produced the 4 fastest times this year. So yeah, he’s 2 seconds faster than the rest & he’s coming back from injury. Kerr hasn’t improved his 1500m time since Tokyo.

History shows that you need to be 2 sec faster than everyone else in order to win from the front, so it is not a given.
