  • Vietnam is a gorgeous country that I absolutely fell in love with during my time there. During my visit I had the opportunity to visit the capital, Hanoi, and of course had to record a Hanoi food and travel tour for you guys! This video is more of a vlog of my entire day though where I explore Vietnam's capital and show you guys how much I spent in one of Asia's cheapest cities, from my accommodation to clothing to, of course, food!
One of the things that I loved most about Hanoi was the constant action. Initially, I was a little worried because I read some negative blog posts on how Hanoi is too busy but I personally thought it was amazing! There were so many shops and restaurants on every block that I felt constantly drawn to see what shopkeepers were selling or to try some delicious food!
The hospitality in Hanoi was also incredible. Everyone was so nice and as I mentioned in the video there were instances where people asked me to join them for meals or offered to pay for my meals which was very nice. I also loved how social the community is. The small plastic stools outside of the street food stalls were always packed with people socializing and the culture in Hanoi was generally just very inviting.
Although this is going to be my only video from my time in Vietnam, I also got to visit Ninh Binh on a day-trip, Hai Phong and Ha Long. I am so glad I extended my trip to these places as well because the nature in Ninh Binh and Ha Long were unbelievable and the hospitality and delicious food continued in Hai Phong.
While I loved Japan and Thailand for the plethora of things to do and the massive sprawling cities, Vietnam captured my heart in a very unique was so thank you so much to all of the amazing people in Vietnam and to anyone considering visiting I can't recommend Northern Vietnam enough!

Vietnam is the second largest exporter of garments, hats, shoes and handbags in the world each year. Vietnam is also the largest importer of US cotton with a value of billions of dollars to produce fabric materials for garments. There are many famous international brands placing large orders for production in Vietnam. Many people see cheap goods and think they are fake, but in fact they are branded goods. These items have very minor defects such as loose seams that have been removed from the manufacturing process. Instead of being destroyed, this quantity of goods was somehow smuggled to the black market...

As for the noodles you're eating, you just eat the noodles separately, then sip the soup whenever you want. The coffee sizes might be less than the American sizes cup, but I bet they're as strong if not stronger taste.
