Amy is so unstable in so many levels in this episode. 2:46 it is, remember the episode when Fry fell in love with a robo copy of Lucy Liu? It explains it right there
That anti-marriage commercial is too real. I think the end just implies Kif is willing to play into her fantasies rather than an implication that he's changed who he is. I think Amy has always said or implied that she likes Kif for NOT being a bad boy but she still has that fetish, it just made him uncomfortable, and for contrived reasons he temporarily broke up with her.
FRY, BENDER, AMY And ZOIDBERG Were LOOKING At HERMES Turn Into A CLOWN When He Caught A COLD And A LONG RIBBON Magically Came Out Of His Nose When White Makeup GOT On His Skin And His Hair Turned Orange!
So this is another case of dated reference- the whole episode is supposed to be a takedown of Proposition 8, a California measure that briefly criminalized gay marriage. the ad they show against Proposition Infinity is a near copy of one that actually aired.
Both episodes 6 and 7 are fantastic for totally different reasons with two totally different main characters are the focus of the episode. Episode 5 is hilarious, too; the concept is so random. lol.
One of my favorite lines in Futurama "I haven't heard a speech this eloquent since Bill Shatner told me why he couldn't pay me back." Takei has two of my favorite lines.
It's brilliant humor right on up there with the scene from the episode where Bender becomes God. "Is there anything religion can do to help me find my friend?" "Well, we can join our hands in prayer." "Uh-huh. But is there anything useful it can do?" "...No."
I like how this episode creatively paralleled the real life events that inspired it. I also love how Eric predicted Bender objecting to monogamy.
What events is pried it?
@@robbieking4070 Proposition 8 (also the title of the episode being Proposition ∞ as they turned the '8' sideways)
the cast did a live table reading of this episode and it is fantastic
You're gonna absolutely love the sixth episode.
It's probably one of the most emotionally charged episodes!

The 'fall down and don't get up' visual gag does make me chuckle
The first human Bender dated was Lucy Liu, the second was Amy. Based on this pattern, Eric might have a chance with Bender in a thousand years.
He's okay! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on this ep!
It basically a rule that whenever George Takei shows up, we have to have an “Oh, My!”
I hope he appears more in the Hulu revival!
The only partner that Bender didn't cheat on was the Countess from the Titanic episode, but that's only because she died before he had a chance to.

2:14 the new catchphrase is here!
Benders tiles look like NFTs
Board Bender yacht club!

Including, I assume, the people in the ad being unable to rationally present any examples of the horrible things that would happen.
9:43 Of course Kif is a "bottom". You're just realizing that now? 🤣
Bender & Amy
It took him a while xD
As much as I enjoy this episode, the next three episodes I would say are the best of this season

Great reaction!
WOOHOO the best boi for boi in thingsings

Isn't it also canon that Farnsworth invented the modern robots?
yup S04E08 - Crimes of the hot, Had to classify them as "sport utility robots" LMAO!
Nice reaction :)
So that was entirely pointless.
Who cares? It was funny!
The animators really enjoyed/hated all the recent fan service they've been giving with Leela and Amy
The shaky relationship between Amy and Kif in this episode does feel kind of forced for the sake of setting up the plot.
the only lies worth believin are the ones in the bible

Yeah... This one was a miss.
