Surprise of the season for me! From the snippet and inital performance, I was less than lukewarm with this but the performance elevated it so much that it was probably the best choice for Malta. Yep, I like this quite a lot.
I'm ambivalent on this one, but we've seen worse from Malta. However, I'm past bored with songs written around dance breaks now, and I feel that juries need to stop rewarding it the same way as having a good song sung well.
Well it's certainly catchy! But will it stand out when you've got hundreds of female bops this year and obvious SloMo comparisons? I think Matt BlXck's 'Banana' could have done MUCH better in Eurovision!
It's a good point that one won't stand out with a dance break in Eurovision these days. We've seen enough of it... MORE than enough if you ask me. Eventually, they seem more or less the same already, there's no wow factor whatsoever. I rather appreciate those acts that bring other and more original qualities to the contest.
True.. At the same time you have Ireland's song.. The act itself brings originallity but it's a shit song.. I would prefer Loop although none of them would be a winning song
@@IndigoHazelnut As for Ireland, I really appreciate that they stepped out of their comfort zone at last, even though the song itself isn't something I'd personally enjoy to listen to. There are still many people who love it. It's just a matter of subjective taste, nobody likes the more original songs equally either. But I'm so tired of those similar dance breaks we see every year now already, it's such a turn off for me honestly.
Audio is just fine😊

The chorus can be more elevated with a bang soundtrack ! But performance wise she is a pro!

I liked Banana more than Loop but I don't agree that it would have done better at eurovision
