The Comrades are flying over the open sea, everything looking good so far - except a strong smell of gasoline..
What the Lieutenant didn’t know- is what’s going on deep in the belly of his aircraft: Plenty of gasoline leaking out of the fuel selector.. That’s why he became dizzy and headache..
How is it possible after all this hours of test flying on the island?
Very simple, its Murphy’s law:
What can go wrong, will go wrong!
The Lieutenant is not amused about the gasoline situation..
After dismantling the cowlings they couldn't find any leakage around the motor compartment, so they decided to go on -
the leakage might have been resulted of overfilling the wing tanks before start on Mallorca - but this theory was wrong - gasoline smell stays and became worse, so they landed in Besançon.. ‪@madundderleutnant‬

Glad you made it home! Sorry about the fuel leak. I suppose it was fixed. And you have a beautiful family! I am a long time follower but I do not speak the German language! Also I am a fan of ULPOWER ENGINES.
